This position sits at the critical intersection of cloud financial management, infrastructure optimization, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for maximizing the business value of every dollar spent on the cloud while ensuring efficient and scalable operations across multi-cloud environments.


As a Cloud FinOps Engineer, you will drive cloud cost optimization strategies, build automation and observability solutions, and lead initiatives that promote transparency, accountability, and efficiency. You’ll work closely with DevOps, R&D teams to design cost-efficient architectures, implement governance standards, and deliver insights that guide technical and business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Cost Monitoring: Maintain close, continuous oversight of cloud infrastructure costs to ensure transparency, predictability, and control.
  • Real-Time Cost Alerting: Develop and deploy real-time alerting systems to detect and notify on cost spikes or anomalies.
  • Service Analysis & Optimization: Gain deep expertise across cloud services and conduct regular audits to uncover cost-saving opportunities.
  • Short- and Long-Term Cost Strategies: Design and implement plans for both immediate cost savings and long-term cloud financial efficiency.
  • Dashboards & Reporting: Build dynamic dashboards and reports using Grafana, Datadog, AWS Explorer, Coralogix
  • Automation & Tooling: Configure and manage cost optimization platforms and develop internal tools for usage analysis.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Produce financial models and forecasts to support cloud scaling decisions.
  • Multi-Cloud Optimization: Analyze and optimize costs across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI environments.
About you:
  • 2–3 years of experience as a FinOps Engineer or equivalent
  • DevOps experience and familiarity with related tools – Must
  • Proven experience in Cloud Cost Management , FinOps , or optimization related roles
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (GCP and Azure are a strong plus)
  • Proficiency with tools like Grafana , AWS Cost Explorer , Athena , BigQuery , Coralogix or similar
  • Solid experience with Python , SQL , and shell scripting for automation

The day-to-day

  • Lead budget planning, forecasting, tracking, monitoring, and financial analysis related to cloud services and infrastructure, following our tech and business needs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (DevOps, R&D, Finance, Business) to analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure costs, with an AWS focus.
  • Develop and report on cloud cost performance metrics and dashboards using data visualization tools.
  • Work with Engineering, product management, and finance divisions to ensure we meet our goals.
  • Collaborate with technical and financial teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive financial efficiency.

Ideally, we’re looking for:

  • At least 5 years in analytical roles, preferred in a tech-savvy environment
  • Analytical skills – research, analyze, visualize data and a technical approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work closely with technical teams and executives.
  • Capability of learning skills with a get-things-done and a positive approach
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal – Must
