About The Position

The VDC group is a prominent professional arm within our Operations department, responsible for creating the framework of the Digital Twin for our clients’ construction projects. It involves integrating our clients’ models, schedule and construction insights, with our proven construction management methodologies, into an accurate digital representation of the project.

As a VDCE in the VDC Group, you will take part in projects’ setup tasks and maintenance routines. You will collaborate closely with the Technical Product team to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of our digital twin solutions, as well as uncover new opportunities to deliver value to our clients.

What you'll do:

  • Support projects’ setup and maintenance tasks, to maintain the digital twin throughout the project lifecycle, using Buildots design guidelines and methodologies.
  • Bring your construction knowledge to the support of the ‘Buildots solution’ for global construction projects.
  • Closely work with our Technical Product team to :
  • Investigate and analyze digital twin quality issues.
  • Help develop scalable quality logics to detect and address these issues efficiently.
  • Identify and extract valuable client use cases based on insights from Buildots data.
  • Research Buildots datasets to uncover patterns, define quality metrics, and propose new product capabilities.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven operational experience in construction projects with practical experience in site-based or project management related roles.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in medical device engineering.
  • Polymer knowledge along with extrusion, injection molding experience and metallurgy.
  • Knowledge of and exposure to product testing and data collection
  • Experience working under quality systems designed to meet governmental regulations such as FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and the MDD
  • Working knowledge of mechanical design principles and FDA class 3 regulated medical device design controls.
  • Medical Device experience in new product development with successful design from concept to commercialization is strongly preferred. This includes experience with medical device materials 7+ years product development, preferably in medical device industry.
  • Proficient in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis of raw data is required, proficiency in Minitab is preferred.
  • Experience with mechanical and/or electrical design, mechanical/electrical drawings, tolerance analysis, and computer-aided design (CAD)
  • Track record of strong cross-functional collaboration, influence without authority, and project management enabling highly effective project teams.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent hands-on mechanical prototyping, verification, and failure analysis skills.
