The DFT (Design for Testability) Engineer is an invaluable role for any tech company. Located in Israel, this position is responsible for the testability of integrated circuits and the effectiveness of their design. The DFT Engineer provides expertise in the design for failure prevention, detection, diagnosis and recovery throughout the entire production process. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience in the development and architecture of DFT services for the IC, as well as the development of accompanying tests and documentation. A strong understanding of the entire development process, from concept to implementation, is necessary for this job. The position requires the capability to assess the risk associated with each product and ensure the highest quality and reliability. The candidate also must be capable of coordinating with external service providers to ensure that the solution meets the customer's needs. A strong knowledge of project coordination is also required, to ensure that all tasks are carried out in a timely manner and that everything is completed according to the specifications. Additionally, outstanding communication and presentation skills are a must for the DFT Engineer. This includes the ability to clearly convey ideas and concepts, both verbally and in written form. It important for a DFT Engineer to be capable of providing support on complex topics to individuals inside and outside the department.
