The Payroll Specialist position at Intel is a critical role within the organization's payroll operations, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee wages and benefits. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform computations and duties necessary for payroll preparation and processing.

  • Create and maintain employee master data and payroll reports.

  • Ensure accurate payment of wages and benefits.

  • Own payroll support and resolve payroll issues and employee inquiries.

  • Conduct audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.

  • Provide Finance with general ledger interfaces, journal entries, and month-end reports.

  • Monitor and address any payroll discrepancies, ensuring defect-free operations.

  • Report process improvement recommendations and efficiencies to management.

  • Champion lean methodologies and business process management.

  • Ensure compliance with internal payroll policies and external government requirements.
