WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Work as part of the Wiz Product & Data Protection Team, with members based in Israel and the US.
• Act as a key partner and advisor to Wiz’s Product and R&D teams, advising on legal, commercial, regulatory, and data protection aspects throughout the product lifecycle.
• Assess, mitigate, and manage risks related to the product lifecycle and serve as a subject matter expert on product issues.
• Handle reviews of new product features and processing activities from a privacy, data protection, and compliance perspective.
• Review and negotiate product-related vendor and integration agreements.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an in-house product counsel role. Cybersecurity experience is a plus.
• Technical understanding of the development and functionality of SaaS products.
• Familiarity with privacy, data protection, and IP laws, as well as practical issues including AI, open source, and export control.
• Experience negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, including SaaS and integration agreements, with a focus on privacy and security terms.
• Excellent ability to communicate legal requirements to a non-legal audience and identify practical solutions.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other teams, including Security, GRC, Product, and R&D.
• Strong operational and organizational skills with experience building and managing processes.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English is a must.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Be a legal business partner to Wiz’s procurement team.
• Structure, draft and negotiate a high volume and broad range of contracts with different kinds of vendors and agreements, including marketing agreements, consulting agreements, events production and event sponsorship agreements, SaaS and software agreements, services agreements, etc.
• Review of privacy aspects in vendor agreements, including data processing agreements.
• Advise finance, HR, product, R&D, sales, and marketing teams on legal, compliance, and privacy matters that are relevant to these teams’ engagements with different vendors.
• Support the continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes.
• Manage a heavy workflow, setting appropriate priorities with internal stakeholders and delivering results efficiently and quickly.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 4+ years of in-house legal experience in a software/technology company or a commercial department of a leading law firm.
• Licensed to practice law in Israel.
• Significant experience in working on procurement contracts.
• Experience in handling and dealing with data privacy matters, including a good understanding and knowledge of privacy laws (GDPR, CPRA, and other global privacy laws).
• Ability to take ownership of and to lead all legal processes in relation to Wiz’s procurement practices.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hebrew, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including during US and Israel business hours.
• A pragmatic and “business-friendly” attitude with an understanding that the legal team’s primary purpose is to support the growth and success of the business.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Provide expert, practical legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of Israeli and global labor law and employment-related issues such as hiring, performance management, terminations, and benefits.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, severance agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other employment-related contracts and documents.
• Develop, draft, and implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
• Advise on employee disciplinary actions, investigations, and grievances, ensuring timely responses and fair, consistent treatment of employees.
• Collaborate with HR to address employee relations issues, mitigate risks, and support cross-functional projects.
• Collaborate with other internal legal counsels in the team, the finance team, and business leaders to address various projects, including incentive plans, IP and confidential information protection, organizational restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including due diligence and integration.
• Stay up to date on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Oversee proceedings and litigation, including mediations, administrative charges, demand letters, and employment-related government audits.
• Manage relationships with external counsels in countries in EMEA, APAC, and other territories as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• Certified Attorney - Israeli Bar Association.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Labor and Employment attorney in a law firm or high-tech company.
• Strong, practical knowledge of the law and related specialized areas, with hands-on legal experience in an international business context.
• Experience handling litigation related to employment matters.
• Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and their implications for employment law.
• Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and lead all legal processes related to employee matters.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Experience advising on employment matters in international markets, particularly in EMEA and/or APAC regions, is a plus.
