Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support invoice process using Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker Tool to set up vendors, create matters, manage invoices, and provide reports.
  • Work with Tracker support when needed to resolve issues.
  • Receive and process invoices not submitted directly to our Tracker tool loading to appropriate matter and initiating approval flow.
  • Work with the Accounts Payable team for Vendor set up, and to resolve invoice payment issues.
  • Work with IT team on issues with batch feeds from Legal Tracker tool.
  • Research problems with invoices and work with outside counsel on discrepancies, inaccuracies, or other problems with invoices.
  • When needed process ServiceNow payment requests and follow through on processing by accounts payable department.
  • Process purchase order requests and/or shopping carts when need for purchases by Legal Team.
  • Manage Legal Ops Smartsheet forms.
  • Assist with other legal operations tasks/projects as requested.

Required:

  • 3-5 years of related experience with legal invoicing or other general legal/ administrative department processing.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality with all communications, information and /or documents.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and oral communication skills
  • Responsive and service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, and demanding work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global environment and sensitivity to cultural differences.
  • Ability to work effectively and constructively in a team environment.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.

PREFFERED:

  • College degree preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker software preferred.
  • Experience with Smartsheet would be helpful.
  • Previous experience creating and editing SharePoint web pages a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project manage the creation and delivery of online training modules and instructor-led classes
  • Work with subject-matter experts and training content vendors to coordinate timely development of training modules
  • Manage relationship with Learning Management System (LMS) owners, oversee technical testing of course files, enable completion tracking of employee development and training initiatives, develop and maintain training reports and statistics
  • Manage the creation of online courses with internal SCORM software
  • Work with business partners to field training-related inquires and support learners
  • Project manage department surveys, employee disclosure certifications, external certification and Global Code of Conduct revisions
  • Support logistics planning of risk assessments, program evaluations and awareness campaigns
  • Monitor, respond/redirect to employee questions, requests, and reports
  • Support the creation, revision and management of E&C policies, guidelines, documents, filing system in Agile+ and other appropriate Company platforms
  • Assist with new team member onboarding, along with subscription enrolment and access to folders and resource
  • Assist with vendor engagement
  • Support periodic updates to the leadership, business units, Audit Committee and Board of Directors
  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to support projects, reports, and processes as necessary
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned

REQUIRED:

  • Ability to understand, learn, and use new technology and systems
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Experience with Learning Management systems, or other corporate training programs
  • Experience working effectively in a global environment with sensitivity to cultural differences
  • Strong project management background
  • Ability to work effectively and constructively in a team environment
  • Proven troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work, including having follow-through and discipline to stay on track with projects
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment, including focusing when needed on the matter at hand
  • Strong work ethic and ability to produce high quality work product under deadline pressures

PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Experience in the areas of legal or ethics and compliance operations, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with graphic design programs including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator preferred

SKILLS

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including pivot tables, vlookup
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and customer service skills

  • Insider risk team lead takes responsibility for digital forensic investigations, interfacing with legal, and mentoring insider risk team members.
  • It's a hands-on position that will allow you to express your investigative, computer forensics, and analytics skills.
  • You will lead investigation of threat signals, develop your own indicators, mentor and coach more junior team members.
  • You will be in frequent communication with business leaders, legal, and members of other teams.
  • Analytical skills and thorough understanding of technologies, including operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), network communication protocols, and data formats are essential for this job.
Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Ability to independently complete assigned responsibilities, drive forensics investigations, oversight and mentor international team, deliver investigation reports to managers, legal, and executive management.
  • Working knowledge of DLP: able to explain and articulate events and user activity
  • Understanding of user behaviors that endanger company’s intellectual property: able to explain possible methods of IP egress from company computers.
  • Understanding of system behavior and artifacts associated with using removable media and file shares: able to explain what artifacts present themselves when a removable media is connected and removed from a system, including Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
  • Understanding of firewall and DNS logs for identification of data leaks to cloud storages and other services: should be able to read firewall and DNS logs and explain communication details.
  • Be able to communicate in written and spoken English with managers (up to C level) and Legal team to explain DLP events and provide escalation information.
  • Working understanding of technical terms related to DLP events and ability to explain them to non-technical people.
  • Able to read and interpret basic scripts in Python and PowerShell.

PREFERRED:

  • Previous law enforcement investigation background is a big plus.
  • Understanding of machine learning principles is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with transfer pricing policies and monitor legal entity results
    • Including Country by Country reporting
    • Reviewing Transfer Pricing Documentation
  • Prepare and review the calculation of the quarterly and annual income tax provision
  • Prepare GAAP income tax accounting models including deferred accounting, payable accounting, tax account roll-forwards, APB23, and stock-based compensation
  • Prepare tax reserves (FIN 48 & FAS 5) and related disclosures
  • Prepare and review U.S. federal and state tax compliance
  • Prepare quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments and year-end extension requests
  • Manage and review fixed assets
  • Prepare R&D credit analysis
  • Provide support for tax examinations
  • Planning and research in connection with the above responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of Section 404 of Sarbanes Oxley
  • Support tax transformation initiatives to automate tax processes, enhance data analytics and re-imagine how the tax function operates
  • Keep up to date with tax legislation, SEC Regulations, and GAAP changes, practice and global developments
  • Build and foster strong cross-functional relationships within and outside of the tax department
Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA license required. MST or MBT (Master of Science in Taxation or Master in Business Taxation) degree preferred, but not required
  • Ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of combined tax experience which includes some mix of experience in a major CPA firm and in a corporate tax department
  • Working knowledge of U.S. tax laws and regulations and capability of application in new situations
  • Working knowledge of transfer pricing rules and regulations
  • Experience with ASC 740, Accounting for Income Taxes

SKILLS

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Independent and self-driven with the ability to adapt and get things done in a complex and fast-based environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Alteryx is a plus
