1. Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

3. Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and methodologies.
4. Proficiency in developing work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address manufacturing challenges.

• Lead the architecture design of core vacuum systems for thin-film deposition equipment, including the selection and integration of vacuum chambers, pump groups, leak detection systems, and control modules.
• Ensure the system meets ultra-high vacuum (UHV) requirements and process stability standards.
• Responsible for the development of vacuum equipment control software, implementing intelligent features such as adaptive vacuum regulation and self-diagnosis.
• Build a centralized data platform and develop vacuum process parameter analysis modules to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

  Key Responsibilities

• Work with team to define the process gating for efficiency enhancement and work for the solutions.

Education:

• Basic understanding of image processing techniques.

• Responsible for HDD media new program development, failure analysis and continue improvement;
• Responsible for HDD media new program Qualification schedule plan and mass production ramp up;
• Providing correct action for issue we suffer during the new program development state;
• Product Evaluation DOE for Reliability/DPPM improvement and media level Yield improvement;
• Define/improve process windows and process knobs to deal with new product introduced to mass production;
• Deliver a workable media design according to roadmap on time;
• Work with multinational team to complete assigned media new program in PDT (product development team) required time.

REQUIRED:

• Master degree or higher in physics, electronic, microelectronics, electrical engineering, or related discipline;
• Minimum 7-10 years of recent experience working in sputtering process/thinfilm technology area
• Excellent engineering and analytical skills;
• The ability to clearly communicate and document findings;
• Programming experience, preferably C, C++, python and SQL language;
• A basic background in manufacturing, engineering, semiconductor, including data sheet knowledge of specifications and timings, etc.
• Willingness to travel abroad for short periods.

PREFERRED:

• HDD media production experience;
• Experience in statistic data mining. Proficient in using Analytical tools such as JMP and Minitab;

SKILLS:

• Sound knowledge on media structure and device physics, manufacture and verification of sputter processes;
• Experience in sputter thin film;
• Excellent analytical(JMP, Minitab, Excel) and problem-solving skills;
