Required Qualifications:

  • Conduct diligence: synthesize data-room materials, financial statements, projections, and third-party reports; participate in Q&A assess market dynamics competitive positioning and key risks/mitigants.
  • Evaluate legal documentation: review and comment on term sheets, credit agreements, intercreditor docs; align protections (e.g. covenants, baskets, events of default) with underwriting thesis.
  • Produce screening and approval memos: distill complex credit analyses into concise memos; clearly articulate the credit thesis, risks, mitigants, and recommended structure.
  • Coordinate closings: track conditions precedent, deliverables, and funding mechanics across sponsors, agents, legal, and internal operations; ensure accurate booking and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

In this role you will:

  • Employees who are not fully licensed at the time of hire will participate in the Branch Banking Licensed Banker licensing program as a Senior Branch Premier Banker LP (SAFE). This is a temporary position until employee has successfully completed licensing requirements. Upon successful completion, employees will transition to the Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) role and perform the following duties:

  • Proactively acquire new affluent consumer and small business customers, and deepen existing relationships, through outreach and pre-planned appointments

  • Review and analyze moderately complex customer concerns for possible resolution though discretionary application of applicable resolution protocols

  • Escalate banking related issues or business risks that require an in-depth evaluation

Description:


In this role, you will:

  • Provide Deal Team middle office support throughout the deal/loan life cycle including: managing document collection, completion of on-boarding and compliance, loan closing, and booking and funding processes
  • Liaise with Portfolio Managers, Credit Analysts, Internal Risk Management, Relationship teams, Operations, Markets and various internal and external partners
  • Coordinate loan closing activities from the initiation and credit approval throughout the closing, booking, and funding process to ensure consistent, timely and accurate credit delivery and funding to our clients
  • Analyze and problem solve complex problems with efficient and logical solutions
  • Work in a fast-paced environment while managing risk, controls and booking accuracy
  • Utilize loan documentation knowledge and analyze and extract pertinent data elements
  • Understand trading limit structure and exposure management and booking on the applicable systems of record
  • Develop expertise in bank policies, procedures and compliance requirements confirming adherence
  • Evaluate and ensure accurate new and existing data in the systems of record
  • Collaborate with managers and peers on initiatives, projects, and complex control resolutions, implementing efficiencies across teams
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working within or supporting middle office functions
  • Comprehension of internal credit underwriting documents and loan closing documentation
  • Knowledge of credit systems of record and origination such as nCino, LIQ, CoRS, and Treasury management systems
  • Understanding of the credit underwriting and customer due diligence processes
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Outstanding problem solving and independent decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

Description:

In this role, you will:

  • Support leadership and senior relationship managers in all aspects of the business, including but not limited to client management, industry research, capital structure, financial modeling, CB and CIB partnership, and database management. Provide periodic guidance to junior associate supporting the broader sponsors team

  • Independently develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships and while leveraging a solid understanding of the art of relationship management, by understanding the needs and priorities of clients and financial decision makers, responding quickly, communicating proactively but strategically, managing expectations, and soliciting feedback.

  • Lead or participate in the structuring, modification, and renewal of complex capital markets transactions, and certain other industry specific solutions within Commercial Banking by analyzing financials, presenting to clients, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and partnering with senior peers to execute more complex transactions

  • Prepare screening memos to be shared with senior partners around capital markets related transactions

  • Review, understand, and offer the full suite of complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial and investment banking clients to meet those needs that require an in-depth evaluation by engaging product organizations to develop client specific solutions, leveraging a solid understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions

  • Independently lead or resolve moderately complex initiatives and guide team to meet deliverables within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group while leveraging a solid understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectives by helping clients navigate Wells Fargo’s processes, escalating client inquiries when needed, and identifying and recommending opportunities for process improvements and risk control enhancements; may lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced colleagues

  • Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systems

  • Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients, by cultivating relationships through existing networks

  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide feedback on client and market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Intermediate knowledge and understanding of core commercial banking and investment products: deposits, commercial credit, and treasury

  • Experience with underwriting complex credit and debt structure

  • Foundational ability to interpret financial statements, summarize findings and structure credit transactions

  • Experience working with financial modeling

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

  • Demonstrated high level of initiative and accountability

  • Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal partners

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related business degree

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
