In this role, you will:

  • Oversee a team of fiduciary professionals responsible for the administration of trust and other fiduciary accounts.

  • Engage clients, advisors and internal partners to deliver a high-touch client experience within a strong risk management framework.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Fiduciary Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience and education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in administering estates and deceased grantor trusts as an attorney or trust officer
  • Knowledge of complex estate planning strategies including tax strategies
  • Ability to read, interpret and explain will and trust documents, probate laws and tax provisions

About this role:

Seeking to add a team member responsible for reviewing and digitizing documentation related to derivatives, financing and regulatory agreements for the Commercial Banking and Markets divisions within the Corporate and Investment Bank. Responsible for providing support for the Markets Negotiation Team that negotiates financing and derivative related master agreements, including ISDAs, MRA/GMRAs, MSFTAs, Loan Agreements, Futures and prime brokerage agreements. The role includes ensuring agreements and ancillary documents are executed in accordance with regulatory and/or bank requirements and identifying any discrepancies. In addition, the role is responsible for digitizing agreement terms for select businesses in the bank's system of record.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in support tasks related to newly executed master agreements including verifying the completeness of master and collateral agreements and the accuracy of agreement terms recorded in the bank's system of record. Any issues identified are raised to the Negotiator or their support team.
  • Assist in responding to requests which may include research to resolve any issues, escalating requests to the appropriate individual or team
  • Team responsible for ensuring internal controls are performed in relation to regulatory disclosures and completion of regulatory documentation prior to trading
  • Review executed agreements for front office businesses and digitize key agreement terms in the bank's system of record. Agreement types include long-form confirmations, credit agreements, guarantees and formation documents.
  • Assist with special projects and gathering data to assist with resolution of issues in areas that may normally be outside of the Team's daily responsibilities.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, the Legal Department and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Create digitization guides to provide step-by-step instructions for other team members and train other team members on any new agreement types
  • Assist in responding to requests which may include research to resolve any issues, escalating requests to the appropriate individual or team
  • Assist with special projects and gathering data to assist with resolution of issues in areas that may normally be outside of the Team's daily responsibilities.
  • Participate in support tasks related to newly executed master agreements including verifying the completeness of master and collateral agreements and the accuracy of agreement terms recorded in the bank's system of record. Any issues identified are raised to the Negotiator or their support team.
  • Present recommendations and provide subject matter expertise for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise on functions, projects, internal and industry related initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Capital Markets services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with multiple types of trading/financing documentation: ISDAs, MRA/GMRAs, MSFTAs, Loan Agreements, Futures and prime brokerage agreements.
  • Recording of agreement terms and quality control of data input on Capital Markets or Commercial Banking agreements.
  • Experience with digitization of markets documentation
  • Experience with credit loan terms a plus
  • Experience presenting findings and consultation to Senior Leaders.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and global environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee a team of fiduciary professionals responsible for the administration of trust and other fiduciary accounts.
  • Administer a book of fiduciary relationships, including analyzing trust and estate documents, implementing client estate plans, and ensuring client accounts are managed in accordance with sound fiduciary principles and applicable law.
  • Engage clients, advisors and internal partners to deliver a high-touch client experience within a strong risk management framework.
  • Build and maintain a strong knowledge of internal policies and procedures including, but not limited to, distributions, account maintenance, account opening and closing, KYC requirements, annual account reviews, and management of overdrafts.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and control development.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on fiduciary administration, including the interpretation of governing instruments, adherence to fiduciary principles and applicable laws, and the application of prudent investing standards.
  • Serve as an escalation point for team members regarding client-related matters, including the resolution of client complaints and the approval of discretionary distributions.
  • Act as a thought leader and culture carrier for the firm to influence outcomes and build an inclusive, collaborative and client-focused environment for our fiduciary professionals.
  • Lead team to achieve business objectives and drive execution.
  • Participate actively in Wells Fargo Trust's training and mentorship programs.
  • Participate in marketing and development initiatives, including building connectivity with centers of influence.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Fiduciary Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience and education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in administering estates and deceased grantor trusts as an attorney or trust officer
  • Knowledge of complex estate planning strategies including tax strategies
  • Ability to read, interpret and explain will and trust documents, probate laws and tax provisions
  • JD, LLM, CFP or CTFA designations
  • Experience working with UHNW (Ultra High Net Worth) clients that have investable assets of $10MM +

Job Expectations:

  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.   • This Sensitive role will have a required absence of 2-weeks

Pay Range

$167,000.00 - $260,000.00
