About this role:

As an Infrastructure Engineer in the Data Center, you will complete the physical implementation and troubleshooting for the components of the hosting environment’s physical layer. You will build and support Layer 1 and hardware with core responsibilities in the areas of power, space, cooling andconnectivity. Youwill increase your skills and develop your career under the guidance of Senior Infrastructure Engineers. You will make an impact by ensuring site integrity and systems availability through the enforcement of corporate security and governance policies, information processing facility specifications, technology standards, processes, and disciplines.

In this role, you will:

• Support initiatives that deliver workable end to end infrastructure solutions

• Participate in test planning and execution

• Communicate with end users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates

• Design, build, enhance and integrate the infrastructure required to support various platforms and our business portfolio

• Troubleshoot and resolve first level network and wireless issues

• Present recommendations for resolving ticket requests, and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of the process, policies and risk controls

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

• Interact with internal customers

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• 1+ year of data center experience including Layer 1 infrastructure deployments

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting technology at an enterprise level

• Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Proficiency with server, storage, mainframe, and network hardware

• Strong risk management experience in critical environments

• Precise attention to detail and strong organization skills​

Job Expectations:

• Willingness to work 100% on-site at stated location on the job opening

• Work hours operate in a 3x12 (week 1) and 4x12 (week 2) rotating shift - Day shift 7 am to 7 pm, Night shift 7 pm - 7 am

• Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds

You will make an impact by ensuring site integrity and systems availability through the enforcement of corporate security and governance policies, information processing facility specifications, technology standards, processes, and disciplines. You will be a governing focal point for all site activities, ensuring site integrity and systems availability through the enforcement of corporate security and governance policies, information processing facility specifications, technology standards, processes, and disciplines. You will provide proactive identification of risk and the creation and execution of risk remediation plans and provide the appropriate leadership necessary to optimize and efficiently manage a hosting environment according to business goals and objectives.

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business

• Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design, and test solutions

• Design, build, enhance and integrate the infrastructure required to support various platforms and our business portfolio

• Contribute to the testing of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements

• Drive solutions to reduce recovery

• Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations

• Design complex system upgrades

• Resolve troublesome trends as they develop

• Develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring

• Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

RequiredQualifications:

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• 3 + years of data center or critical facilities experience

DesiredQualifications:

• Experience supporting technology at an enterprise-level
• Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations, including management
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency with server, storage, mainframe, and network hardware
• Proficiency with Layer 1 Infrastructure Design
• Extensive knowledge of data center operations (space, power, cooling and network)
• Precise attention to detail and strong organization skills
• Experience and focus on strong risk management in critical environments
• Experience and understanding of IPv4 & IPv6 subnetting and VLAN technologies to perform FQDN generation and assignments
