1a. Expertise: Broad knowledge across all Elements of Wealth, subject matter expert (SME) and thought leader in one or more specific knowledge area within the Elements of Wealth related to complex financial planning concepts and be a resource for the advice and planning group in that area. Keeps current on estate, tax and planning trends and their application to solutions for our clients.2. Advice Process Excellence: Proven ability to effectively execute the financial planning and advice process: identify and prioritize goals and objectives, gather data, analyze current course and potential alternative courses of action, developing and presenting recommendations, partnering for implementation and monitoring progress.4. Technology: Maintain proficiency in all planning software as well as company systems in order to not only analyze a client's needs but to efficiently determine the most advantageous outcomes.6. Relevance: Actively engage in Advice and Planning Group and regional Wealth meetings and conference calls. Share relevant experiences, insight, and topics related to advice and planning. Be a valuable thought leader and relevant partner within supported markets.10. Specialization/Thought Leader: Subject matter expert (SME) and thought leader in a specific knowledge area within the Elements of Wealth related to complex financial planning concepts and be a resource for the advice and planning group in that area.
11. Personal and Professional Development: Maintains and pursues professional credentials that are necessary or enhance ability to deliver superior client solutions. Assume additional responsibilities as requested by APG leadership and suggest enhancement ideas or other process improvements that align with the Truist Purpose, Mission and Values.
12. Travel: Will work primarily in the region assigned; will likely also be utilized virtually or outside of the assigned region, based on complexity of the client relationship.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Complex technical knowledge of issues relating to financial planning including, but not limited to: income tax, investments, debt management, retirement planning, employee benefits, stock options, insurance, estate planning, and business planning.
2. Proven ability to get clients to take action.
3. Bachelor’s degree
4. Professional work experience with demonstrated competency in financial industry
5. Advanced communication and relationship skills
6. Strong computer software and related technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite
7. At least one of the following: JD, LLM in Taxation, MS in Taxation, MSFS, ChFC, CFP, CPA or comparable advanced knowledge course of study
8. Advanced verbal, problem solving, and analytical skills
9. Proven experience with group facilitation, presentations, and public speaking
10. The ability to lead and manage projects relevant to the Advice and Planning Group

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Twelve years of experience with area(s) of concentration specifically in financial planning and wealth management or affiliated industries

1. Provides a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, facilitating courteous conversation, conducting both complex and standardized transactions while uncovering needs. Performs more complex transactions with assistance as necessary.
2. Educates clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking to make banking easier and enhance their service experience.
3. Supports team by making client servicing calls, presenting client offers, identifying client needs or opportunities by fulfilling the need or referring the client to the appropriate branch team members or specialist.
4. Participates fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
5. Commits to advancing knowledge to better serve clients by completing applicable training classes and web-based learning.
6. Adheres to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies. Stays informed of all changes in policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current guidelines.
7. Serves as point of contact for account maintenance, problem resolution, identifying solutions and services and referring the client to the appropriate teammate.
8. Float Universal Bankers will be assigned to a home branch but will be scheduled to support multiple branches within their designated coverage Area. Schedules will be provided in advance but may change based on staffing needs. Float teammates will receive direction from the Branch Leader of the location they are working in on any designated day/week.QUALIFICATIONS

* Lead and manage one or more Truist Wealth Team's in an assigned region or territory
* The role requires significant leadership, sales and relationship management, business development, presentation and sales skills that establish the leader and the team as credible and capable financial partners to high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients
* Effectively lead the team to work with various specialists and IRM partners who are designated to support client service and business development efforts (e.g. credit, mortgage, planning, investment, trust and fiduciary services, and insurance services) in a manner that promotes client retention and prospect referrals. This includes effectively executing on the specialist delivery model utilizing both centralized and regionalized partners to appropriately protect the inherent cost-to-serve requirements of the corporation
* Ensure the team delivers personalized, attentive, needs based service to the client base through sound financial planning and advisory concepts, and actively monitors assigned investment accounts for adherence to investment and asset allocation objectives and policies
* Establish and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships with internal and external centers of influence such as the CCB, CIG, groups as well as the regional leadership team, local advisory board members, outside Certified Public Accountants (CPA), attorneys, civic associations and other individuals and organizations to enhance the marketing efforts of the team
* Ensure that the unit works within the existing audit, compliance and regulatory framework in order to ensure a high quality, compliant portfolio of relationships. Work closely with specialized areas of support (fiduciary administration, credit administration and compliance) to implement the company's risk management practices, policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree required

* 10 years of leadership experience in coaching in sales and relationship management
* A thorough understanding of a broad range of financial planning and investment concepts and an advanced working knowledge of retail banking and trust and fiduciary services
* Advance and proven knowledge of deposit, credit and investment products
* Successful track record using interpersonal, sales, presentation and relationship management skills previously demonstrated in wealth management in the high net worth marketplace
* Excellent written, verbal, problem solving, and analytical skills with an ability to coach teammates to be the same caliber
* Ability to thrive and be an active participate on a national team
* Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
* Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS acceptable background check
* Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
Preferred Qualifications:
* MBA, JD, CPA, CFA or CFP
* 5 years of proven experience leading and managing multi-regional wealth teams

  • Support Integrated Relationship Management activities through good understanding of offerings, solutions and referral pathways
  • Triage and delegate client and advisor operational requests related to transfers, withdrawals, and account opening/maintenance to the centralized service team
  • Work closely with the centralized service team to ensure client and advisor requests are fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all operational competencies and processes including banking, credit, investments, trust, new client on-boarding/welcome program, client servicing and advisor support
