As a Quality Control Technician III in the Teva Tech Industry in Chennai, India, you will be responsible for ensuring that products manufactured and marketed by Teva meet the company's customer, safety and regulatory standards. This includes performing laboratory tests of incoming materials, in-process materials, finished products and releasing test reports. You will use various test techniques, including but not limited to, instrument operation, wet chemistry, process control, statistical process control, visual inspection and dimensional inspection. In addition, you will be responsible for validating customer product specifications, auditing documentation, verifying non-conforming materials, and writing test reports.
You will also be tasked with maintaining the QC laboratory, troubleshooting problems and ensuring cleanliness and organization of the lab. You will be monitoring personnel and providing training on quality systems, and safety and health regulations. As Quality Control Technician III, the qualified candidate will need effective communication and recordkeeping skills, as well as the ability to work independently to analyze and interpret test results and to carry out activities in an efficient and accurate manner.
Experience in a laboratory setting and the ability to assess customer requirements and implement quality control processes in accordance with industry standards, safety regulations and company requirements are essential for success in this role. Additionally, a basic knowledge of chemistry, material sciences, and quality principles is necessary.
