What You’ll Bring
Ability to navigate NEC guidelines and knowledge of NFPA 70E practices and CPR & Low Voltage Rescue SCADA experience is a plus
Previous electrical trades experience working with power/hand tools, electrical equipment, isolation meters and multimeters (Oscilloscopes is a plus)
Attend site daily and travel up to 2 weeks at a time with short notice and flexibility to work on weekends and overtime
Ability to work at great heights, work in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitious duties, lift at least 50 pounds frequently
Valid driver’s license required
Strong computer skills. Comfort with Microsoft office and cloud-based computing programs. Ability to communicate and function well in a mobile office setting

Respond to corrective maintenance cases on solar PV systems, energy storage systems, and updating online case logs accurately while working safely and in accordance with Tesla and industry standard safety requirements
Report writing, where required, to comply with deliverables in O&M contracts
Work closely with members of the Operations Engineering Systems Reliability team to respond to open case directions and provide data where requested
Prioritize conflicting work requests and escalations
Respond to customers’ concerns with the performance or functionality of their system
Ensure the vehicle, tooling, electronics, software, and company property issued are always accounted for and taken care of
What You’ll Bring
Minimum one-year experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar PV systems. A valid Journeyman Electrician card preferred to perform electrical work in the states where work will be performed by the candidate
Proficiency in installing inverters and able to work with various ground and roof mount racking systems and understanding the NEC codes that relate to solar PV installations and knowledge of NFPA 70E practices
Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines while working independently and managing your own schedule
Proficient working with spreadsheets, word processing, and computer-based applications (e.g. time tracking, case management, etc.)
Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairs, lift heavy objects and work on your feet for long periods of time along with working in extreme environments e.g. hot sun, below freezing etc. Bending, stooping, crawling, in confined spaces, working in limited illumination areas, working in dusty conditions are required
Comfortable making decisions independently and handling emergency situations with a calm and directed manner while showcasing excellent customer service skills
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment and able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time
Demonstrates an aptitude towards learning Engineering Test Standards with a safety-first attitude
Motivated to work in a high-paced, dynamic environment
Willingness to learn new and innovative technologies
Organizing and maintaining lab equipment, parts, and tools
Support communal operations and oversight of environmental chamber logistics
Support other technicians on test setup, inspection, and end of test wrap up
Assembly and disassembly of test fixtures and equipment
Organizing parts by using fork-lifts and other equipment, as well as become the technical expert and owner for shipping and logistics
Support wiring harness fabrication, including soldering, crimping, and following wiring diagrams
Assist in the battery discharging and scrapping process
What You’ll Bring
Ability to follow technician/engineer instructions to operate charging equipment, basic hand tools, test equipment, and data acquisition systems used for data collection
Able to identify and assess potential electrical hazards or risks to ensure a safe working environment
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public
Able and willing to lift at least 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in an industrial environment (90% indoor)
Track record of using hand tools to perform basic shop operations
Work with a collaborative attitude and team spirit
Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
Basic high voltage training or demonstrated working knowledge of high voltage DC systems, high voltage battery packs, and associated safety protocols
Exceed customer expectations, monitor service trends, and develop standards and processes to elevate the overall service experience
Lead by example, prioritize team success, and actively engage in team growth and development, providing regular feedback and mentoring
Understand and improve all aspects of service center performance, championing safety, efficiency, quality, and technical acumen in service operations

What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Prior leadership experience in a service-focused industry; automotive expertise is not required
Experience leading teams and managing a diverse group of roles and responsibilities
Strong and proven experience leading field, technical repair, or manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with strong customer facing responsibilities
Experience running complex processes using Lean or other techniques
