The collision technician role is one of the most important positions in the tech industry at Tesla. They also need to be comfortable accessing the parts station for the necessary components to make the repair. In addition to the technical skills required for the position, a collision technician should come equipped with communication skills and the ability to work as a part of a team. They must be able to effectively communicate with the customer on the findings of the diagnostic, the repair plan and expected outcome. They also need to work cooperatively with the other technicians and the parts station to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and the customer is informed during each stage of the repair.
