As an Automotive Painter, you will be responsible for prepping and painting automotive components, components from 3rd party suppliers, and fully assembled vehicles with a high degree of skill and attention to detail. You will be engaged in the day-to-day operation of the automotive department's painting booths, masking areas, inspection procedures, and mixing colors. You will use a wide range of painting equipment, techniques, materials, tools, and colors to work with innovative electric and autonomous vehicles. Tesla is looking for automotive painters who can think creatively about how to best achieve an aesthetically pleasing and quality painted finish. Successful automotive painters with excellent communication and interpersonal skills will collaborate easily with fellow members of the workshop and management team to ensure a smooth and efficient production flow. The successfulAutomotive Painter should have experience in mixing and matching spray painting colors and use of all painting related tools and materials.
