What to Expect

Reporting to the Manager, the Security Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the leadership and administration of security operations at their assigned site. The employee is expected to work with minimal supervision. They will provide oversight, general leadership, and direction to security officers, plus complete bi-annual reviews of team members. Additionally, employee will partner with key stakeholders to improve the security posture of the site. In the absence or at the direction of the Manager, the employee will assume the role of incident commander during major events.

What You’ll Do
  • Exercise independent judgment in directing the activities of the security officers
  • Provide leadership, training, and development to security professionals. Assume overall leadership of Security Operations in the absence of the Manager
  • Draft SOP, Post Orders, and Policy for manager review. Partner with HR, Safety, and other stakeholders to resolve security incidents
  • Coordinate security response for medical emergencies, fire events, or other emergency incidents
  • Conduct site assessment surveys and patrols to ensure site integrity
  • Provide physical security presence to de-escalate and mitigate threats against Tesla property and personnel
  • Ability to follow directions, be the example for Tesla employees, and adhere to Tesla policies and procedures
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of security supervisor, law enforcement, military, or emergency response experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead emergency operations
  • Ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends
  • Formal training in verbal de-escalation preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain state-specific guard card or other licensing requirements; Current First Aid/AED/CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license required to operate assigned fleet

What You’ll Do
  • Support the Security Engineering’s Southern region in the successful delivery of new build and service projects
  • Programming and commissioning of access control, intrusion detection and video surveillance systems
  • Coordination with various internal and external stakeholders, including access control team, programming and commissioning team, project management, external security vendors
  • Compile, develop and maintain system configuration reports and technical documentation
  • Provide feedback and assist in process improvement
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, providing remote technical support and troubleshooting for security systems. After hours support may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Information Technology or related field or installation field experience
  • Must have 3+ years of security industry experience
  • Candidate should have a strong background in networking including knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, network topologies, routing protocols, network security, and the ability to configure and troubleshoot network devices like switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Experience with Genetec Ominicast & Gallagher Access Technician, Plan Grid or Autodesk construction cloud
  • Candidate will have a basic understanding of electrical principles including AC/DC circuits, relay logic & PLC’s
  • Experienced in configuring networks and of enterprise system architecture
  • Up to 10% domestic and international travel may be required

What You’ll Bring
  • 3 + years of experience in a guard or security officer position

  • Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbal and written, in English
  • Current First Aid/AED/CPR certification
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for eight-hour shifts and handle occasional mandatory overtime

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Specialist within the Security Operations Center (SOC) for our large-scale manufacturing facility. This role will support operational protocols, crisis management initiatives, and strategic processes to ensure the facility's security and safety. The Security Specialist will also provide leadership in driving SOC performance metrics, team development, and process optimization. In the absence of the SOC Associate Manager, this role will act as the primary point of contact for the Security Operations Center.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as a key resource in the development and execution of crisis management plans and emergency response initiatives
  • Drive shift development through training and professional growth initiatives
  • Develop and communicate meaningful metrics to measure and improve operational execution
  • Continuously refine and innovate processes to improve threat analysis and reporting capabilities
  • Develop, implement, and periodically re-evaluate SOC policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and industry best practices
  • Ensure compliance with security, safety, and risk management standards while addressing any identified vulnerabilities promptly
  • Support shifts to ensure business needs are met in compliance with company policy
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in leadership roles within military, law enforcement, corporate security, or emergency management
  • At least 3+ years in a Security Operations Center or control center environment
  • 3+ years of experience in physical security, risk management, loss prevention, or emergency preparedness
  • Hands-on knowledge of camera analytics, alarms, and access control security systems
  • Proficiency in coordinating and conducting training events in a corporate or professional setting
  • Proven ability to manage stress and respond swiftly to high-pressure situations in a professional and composed manner
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey policies, procedures, and metrics to a diverse audience
