What You’ll Do
  • Drive design, development, commissioning, and ramp of part feeding, material handling/loading, and active mover or linear motion conveyance systems used in custom high speed automated manufacturing equipment. Design equipment fixtures, part loading, feeding, and conveyance equipment to add functionality and improve productivity
  • Work collaboratively as the equipment expert to ensure production lines run in a safe, efficient manner producing high quality parts. Become owner / subject matter expert to drive equipment-related process improvement including detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Become owner of data management effectiveness and reliability for automated active mover/transport systems
  • Debug and optimize automated processes to reduce cycle times and maximize OEE. Troubleshoot and recover processes using PLC, HMI, or tool management software, and implement changes/improvements. Provide hands-on support to maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve extended downtime situations. Build training material, maintenance routines, and related documentation for equipment life cycle management
  • Lead safety and ergonomic improvements to production equipment which meets or exceeds regulations or best practices
  • Identify equipment critical spare parts and ensure sufficient coverage to prevent extended downtime situations
  • Participate in supplier/internal equipment FAT and SAT
  • Develop and manage FMEA / risk assessments to prioritize equipment improvement projects and ensure sufficient repair strategies
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in interdisciplinary/integrated Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent in a high volume manufacturing environment
  • 3D CAD design experience in production equipment, high volume part handling, conveyance systems, linear motion systems, creating/validating layouts, tooling drawings, pneumatic and electrical schematics
  • Demonstrated experience ramping equipment into manufacturing – automation assembly equipment, parts and material feeding, active mover and linear motion platforms, web handling, electromechanical systems, PLCs, motion controls, vision systems and data capture
  • Demonstrated experience solving complex electromechanical and software system issues with limited documentation to debug, build process know-how, and kick off improvement projects
  • Structured thinking and problem solving abilities. Proven through a number of root cause analysis following a data driven approach, statistical software (JMP) a plus. Experience with motion control programming, backup and restoration a plus
  • Availability for domestic/international travel as required
  • Knowledge and understanding of Battery Cell technology a plus

  • Foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement and develop individual professional development for supervisory team
  • Drive a culture that prioritizes safety and quality through communication, action, and accountability. Motivate your team through recognition awards; Immerse yourself within the cross functional team of production/engineering/maintenance/safety/production control/NPI organizations to provide world class customer service
  • Facilitate the improvement of Quality controls and audits to prevent escape of suspect material. Support projects to ensure robustness in the quality system and its controls by implementing effective controls for suspect materials (Physical and virtual material management). Support the allocation of resources and space to complete quality inspections and disposition without escape of material

What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ year experience managing teams of people in high-volume manufacturing setting. Preferred experience managing a mixture of individual contributors and people leaders
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or other Technical discipline, evidence of exceptional experience, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to support Quality problem identification, prioritization, and resolution
  • Ability to work with and develop Quality performance metrics. Ability to develop motivation and drive from team members even on challenging situations. Ability to work well under extreme pressure while managing competing demands and deadlines
  • Communicate clearly using excellent written, verbal, and strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail and must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

What You’ll Do
  • Assist with development of the site-specific QA/QC program while driving a quality culture that embraces both “right first time” and continuous learning approach that improves project efficiency and quality
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, commissioning agents and vendors to ensure that the site-specific QC Program is followed for all projects
  • Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation deliveries and activities on site
  • Confirm that scopes of work installation conforms to approved design drawings, specifications, and method
  • Witness & perform construction complete inspection checks & writes QC reports verifying proper install per design & code standards
  • Obtain relevant documentation and ensure the correct implementation of the Inspection Test Plans for all things related to mechanical, plumbing & fire protection
  • Assist and coordinate final handover documentation including completion of construction punch lists
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of the construction quality process, means and methods, and materials, their characteristics, installation procedures and tolerances
  • Experience in the construction quality management of mission critical facilities
