What You’ll Do
  • Manage a project pipeline of short, medium, and long-term opportunities spanning multiple states, project types, and markets
  • Lead the sales cycle, including deal origination, project development management, contract negotiation and closing a targeted product volume and/or revenue each year (quota bearing)
  • Manage techno-economic analysis of opportunities- identifying associated risks, optimizing technical and commercial variables, and articulating Tesla’s value versus competitive offerings
  • Provide reporting to management as and when required
  • Generate quotes and supply customers with high quality, accurate project proposals, often in response to highly complex and formal utility RFPs
What You’ll Bring
  • 4-5 years minimum work experience in the renewable energy space and/or power sector
  • Experience in sales or business development (customer-facing)
  • Working knowledge of battery systems, renewable power, and grid markets
  • Hands-on contract negotiation experience in energy storage or renewables
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects in fast paced, dynamic settings
  • Strong analytical/quantitative skills regarding complex price models, storage/renewable project economics, techno-economic optimizations, quantitative risk analysis, etc.
  • Ability to travel periodically

  • Manage resource scheduling and allocation, implement and adherence of work standard quality, and understand and own every aspect of the team’s performance

  • Forecast and surpass goals and objectives for the site through regular audits of shop operations

What You’ll Bring
  • 5-8 years of management experience in the collision industry or relevant roles in manufacturing, automotive, or customer service, in addition to 3-5 years vendor management expertise
  • Bachelor’s Degree, relevant Certificate from a Vocational School in Collision Repair, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in effectively leading diverse field, technical repair, or manufacturing teams in a technology-driven environment
  • Read and comprehend automotive repair procedures, with in-depth knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in collision repair; ability to run processes using Six Sigma or Toyota Lean
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence teams to achieve business targets
  • Follow instructions meticulously, showcasing attention to detail in tasks and responsibilities; capable of self-management in limited supervision environments

What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience

  • Work with prospective customers to identify best commercial and technical fit for Tesla’s battery systems by creating and defining the business case
  • Develop a deep understanding for Tesla energy storage technology platforms and provide sales teams with technical & financial modelling support and product configuration guidance to drive successful equipment-only and turn-key sales
  • Lead discussions with customer and Tesla’s internal teams to outline preliminary design pertaining to the opportunity/project. This requires a comprehensive understanding of Engineering, Construction, and permitting/code compliance concepts
  • Work with the customer and Tesla’s sales team to negotiate technical contracts (scope, schedule, and performance guarantees for both sales as well as services agreements)
  • Interface with internal customers (Sales team, Product Managers, Project Engineering, Project Managers, Application Engineers etc.) and external customers (utilities, IPPs, AHJs, contractors, end customers etc.) to ensure consistent communication amongst all stakeholders
  • Understand regional energy markets, utilities, and customer needs; Define, and disseminate functional requirements with internal business and Engineering colleagues to aid in market entry planning, product roadmap and new feature development. Participate in on-going proceedings related to tariffs and market mechanisms to inform / update modelling processes
  • Assist in the development of sales tools and support materials to streamline and scale sales. Mentor Associate Sales or Sales Engineer(s) within the team
What You’ll Bring
  • 5-10 years’ work experience in the energy industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Engineering Management with Energy specialization, Management Science and Engineering with Energy specialization, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to analyze a system’s robustness
  • Prototype embedded software to evaluate concepts on various manufacturing systems
  • Develop scripts to analyze fleet performance of existing systems to make precise software/hardware improvements on existing and future processes (Python)
  • Solve hard, undefined problems with limited direction. Hands-on with hardware bring-up and prototyping
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience leading a technical effort from concept to production. Experience writing clear requirements, system diagrams
  • Experience developing real-time safety-critical software (C/C++)
