- Replace all parts associated with collision repair including body panels, suspension parts, vehicle structure, radiators, airbags and trim
- Proficient in Mig Welding
- 5+ years of experience as an Automotive Collision Repair Technician
- Capable of reading and comprehending automotive repair procedures
- Excellent attitude and enjoys working with others in teams
- Neat and organized work habits
- Vocational Certificate in Collision Repair and I-CAR Mig Welding certification is a plus
- Valid driver's license preferred

- Maintain high levels of communication and feedback within the Tesla Energy service organization; prepare daily updates of work completed, problems identified, and future timelines
- Have flexibility to provide support outside your region and possibly outside the country as required along with availability travel for extended periods of time covering multiple locations
- Ability to navigate NEC guidelines and knowledge of NFPA 70E practices and CPR & Low Voltage Rescue SCADA experience is a plus
- Previous electrical trades experience working with power/hand tools, electrical equipment, isolation meters and multimeters (Oscilloscopes is a plus)
- Attend site daily and travel up to 2 weeks at a time with short notice and flexibility to work on weekends and overtime
- Ability to work at great heights, work in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitious duties, lift at least 50 pounds frequently
- Valid driver’s license required

- Serve as an Electrical Safety technical expert to identify critical risks, including legal compliance requirements and responsibilities in all phases of product deployment, operation, and service, including specific support in the safe design and engineering, installation and construction, commissioning and operations, and preventative maintenance and repair of energy products
- Lead the development, implementation, and execution of short and long-term plans for Tesla's Electrical Safety program for Utility and Commercial Operations and Maintenance
- Identify operational gaps and creative solution facilitation, including identifying key stakeholders and driving innovative EHS solutions, electrical and otherwise, with cross-functional teams
- Respond to and investigate EHS events and support the learning from events by determining causes and preventative actions with management and business teams
- Drive the implementation of Human & Organizational Performance principles within operations and electrical incident investigations
- Conduct proactive and zero-blame, learning-focused field observations to verify that work in progress meets EHS goals and document findings; review improvement opportunities with supervisors, operations, EHS and other stakeholders
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive Environment, Health, and Safety experience in organizations at scale and an educational degree in an EHS-related field, engineering, or other related fields of study
- Extensive experience working directly within the electric power generation, transmission, storage, or distribution industries. Detailed knowledge of the functionality of lithium-ion battery storage is preferred
- Detailed knowledge and practical, hands-on experience in developing and deploying safety programs under the requirements of OSHA
- In-depth knowledge of Electrical Standards (OSHA, NFPA 70-E, IEEE, NEC) and working knowledge and demonstrated working experience on or around energized equipment in an industrial setting
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to positively interact with the full range of senior business management and regulators, frontline workers and 3rd party clients
- Strong interpersonal skills, great attention to detail, problem-solving skills, multi-task, prioritizing, and working in a highly fast-paced environment, and a demonstrated ability to perform duties independently and remotely with minimal supervision.

The Collision Center Back of House Manager is the leader of our collision shop floor teams. In this role, you will be responsible for leading an engaged team of technicians while delivering an impeccable service experience through driving excellent results and delivering operational efficiency in our collision centers. This position requires a clear understanding of production systems and collision shop workflow, utilizing critical thought processes and root cause analysis.
What You’ll Do - Provide effective supervision and coaching to assigned technical employees to achieve the required quality and service output goals. Maintain appropriate shop records and inventories. Manage the smooth flow of work through the collision center
- Serve as the process leader for shop activities, ensuring work standards are defined and systemically improved with input from collision technicians and the rest of the collision center team. Lead, coach and develop a highly engaged team of technicians
- Ensure that work standards and available engineering procedures are current, accurate and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum quality. Monitor to ensure that all employees comply with safety regulations and the collision center's safety program
- Work with employees to resolve technical and personnel problems. Schedule employees to effectively meet collision repair needs and to ensure vacation and other time off consistent with company policies
- Responsible for selecting team members and ensuring they receive the required training. Conduct regularly scheduled one on one developmental meetings with team members to facilitate their professional development and leveling in charge your career. Monitor training needs/requirements of the team and individuals and coordinate training as required in partnership with training team resources
- Provide effective daily communication in order to keep all team members working toward the same goals. Communicate to employees all issues that affect the service center and overall service organization
- Partner with Collision Manager to scale and grow the production of the shop in support of company targets. Perform other duties as assigned by the Collision Manager to support business
- 7-10 years Collision technical aptitude or experience is preferred
- Prior leadership experience in a collision-focused industry preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality / quantity. Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals. Ability to lead group root cause problem solving activities and rapidly develop countermeasures
- Able to effectively interact with customers as required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- One to three years of industrial supervisory or similar leadership experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office, understanding of repair estimates
- Valid driver's license preferred
