- Hands-on hardware bring-up, system debugging and code optimization
- Writing component level tests to ensure proper functionality
- Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field of study with a graduation date between December 2025-December 2026
- Experience with fundamental hardware components on PCB and their analysis tools
- Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals including circuit analysis and design
- Proficiency in C, comprehension of Python
- Knowledge of software fundamentals including software design and maintainability
- Experience with the embedded microprocessor tools
- Ability to collaborate and communicate complex technical concepts

- Development of real-time embedded software that implements control and safety management of the Drive Inverter
- Develop automated tests to ensure high quality software releases and accurate functionality
- Be involved in the full firmware development and deployment life cycle; from concept through integration, test, and release to millions of customer vehicles
- Work closely with the hardware and control teams to specify hardware actuation and sensing requirements
- Develop and optimize firmware for motor controls and power electronics
- Currently working towards a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field of study with a graduation date between December 2025 - December 2026
- Proficiency in C and python
- Experience with reading electrical schematics and understanding circuit behavior
- Knowledge of microcontroller peripherals such as ADC, GPIO, PWM and SPI
- Familiarity with control loops and PID controllers
- Knowledge of version control (Git) and continuous integration (Jenkins) preferred

- Review, Validate & Approve Design Change
- Collaborate with the illustrators to update the illustrations if necessary
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing NPIs to track cutover from old to new revision
- Collaborate with Material Planning on the change, updating POs and ensuring a supply strategy for the new revision
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or the equivalent in experience
- 3-4 years in an engineering related role
- Project Management experience balancing time across several projects, working cross-functionally with technical, operational and supply chain teams
- Experience analyzing Engineering design changes and working with complex Bills of Material (BOMs)
- CAD experience (CATIA preferred) a plus
- Energy industry and supply chain experience related to design, manufacturing, and Energy repair a plus
- Highly proficient in PDM system (Enovia, Teamcenter etc) or other PDM systems. Microsoft Excel and data analysis experience a plus

Own Experience Metrics: Be responsible for key VPP metrics such growth, churn, customer/aggregator experience and value generation. For interoperability; success looks like reducing unique standards and requirements, while maintaining broad market access
Drive Cross Functional Alignment: Be a integral part of the software engineering process by gathering and clarifying requirements, ensuring all teams are driving to the same outcome
Land the Launch: Ensure that the impact of software changes is being realized by all stakeholders by delivering training, measuring, gathering feedback, and providing visibility for engineering teams
Technical understanding of energy products such Inverters, Battery Storage and Vehicle Charging
Familiarity with Energy markets (wholesale and/or ancilliary services)
Exposure to policy work around compliance and standards development
Degree in an engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent experience
A familiarity with APIs, data products and analytics, Python, SQL or similar

- Work closely with control and firmware engineers to validate and improve thermal control algorithms for all energy products
- Perform system validation of current and next generation Tesla Energy products
- Analyze fleet and test data to identify issues and recommend improvements
- Validate thermal system simulation results with experimental data
- Prepare technical reports and test summaries for stakeholders
- Work cross-functionally with controls, firmware, mechanical design, and reliability organizations
- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience with thermal system integration
- Excellent understanding of Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, and thermal components (pumps, compressors, expansion valves, fans, etc.)
- Experience in working with hardware and/or test-benches to evaluate thermal system performance, as well as firmware integration
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, able to identify and surface issues within complex HW/SW systems
- Proficiency with Python (read/write) and C (read)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, work hands-on, and execute on open-ended projects in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment
- Preferred: Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, CAN tools (PCAN, CANape, CANalyzer), and data acquisition (DAQ) systems

- Communicate field performance of the engineering system, gather buy-in from engineering leadership on improvement priorities and urgency
- Drive upward design feedback during design reviews by utilizing information on field performance, reliability and factory quality issues (DFMEAs)
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and take preventive actions
- Degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Prior applicable experience desired; preferably in a Quality, Failure Analysis or Service in consumer electronics or automotive
- The successful candidate for this position must have a broad technical background with the ability to work with engineering, manufacturing, service, and suppliers across a wide variety of issues
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute requirement to establish effective working relationships within Tesla and outside
- Ability to use tools and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data
- Programming Languages & Tools: SQL, Python, Minitab, JMP or similar are a strong plus

- Delivery management: Partner with Logistics and Industrial Deployment team to coordinate Megapack and accessories delivery. Monitor and mitigate delivery risk and support Accounting in any audit request
- Data integrity: Take full ownership to ensure business transactional data integrity across all Tesla systems/applications. Generate weekly metrics and monitor the state of contracts, orders, and Megapack delivery
- Customer Support: Problem-solve and address all requests from Customers, Sales, Logistics, Service, Finance, and other departments with minimal management guidance or supervision. Address issues with a strong sense of urgency
- Process Improvement: Actively identify and submit business process improvement ideas, support the implementation of such process/system improvement
- Bachelor's in Business, Analytics, Engineering, Operations Management, and/or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability
- 3+ years of hands-on work in contract, analytics and operations, or equivalent experience in complex order management, delivery and planning
- Proficient with ERP platform, customer relationship management platform, and order/material management platforms, as well as Word/Excel/PDF is required
