What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools for the servicing of automotive glass components
- Collaborate with experienced technicians on inspecting, repairing, and servicing Tesla electric vehicles as needed
- Ensure the vehicle Driver’s Assistance System is functioning correctly using computer/calibration software when applicable
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications
- Maintain records of time, expenses, and materials
- Safely operate company vehicles, communicate professionally with customers and stakeholders, and ensure vehicle cleanliness
- Daily regional travel
- Hands-on experience removing and installing glass, primarily windshields; trade school training/ ASEs preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to follow instructions with attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public and multiple internal stakeholders
- Ability to quickly adapt to new systems, processes, and a dynamic work environment
- Must be comfortable with daily regional travel and operating a large service vehicle
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license required

What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Execute both basic and advanced diagnostic and repair work on all Tesla products
- Collaborate with team members to maximize repair efficiency and ensure exceptional product delivery, including vehicle cleaning and detailing
- Operate a variety of high-quality hand, power, and shop tools
- Utilize a company supplied laptop for diagnostics and online training
- Accurately document repairs and inspect and maintain shop equipment, requesting replacements as necessary
- Provide direct feedback to Tesla's design and engineering teams to continuously enhance repair procedures and products
- Maintain a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful attitude in a dynamic environment
- Proven ability to adapt to new technologies, innovate, follow instructions attentively, and effectively manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
- Section 609 Refrigerant handling certification, preferred
- Evidence of a "safety first" attitude
- Basic command of the English language
- Proficiency in fundamental computer skills, including web browsing and standard applications such as Excel and Word
- Valid driver's license required

- Performs entry-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- Perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of new cars
- Maintain inventory, records of time, shop supplies and parts
- Help maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer cars
- Support Parts & Front of House operations as needed or on a rotational basis
- Knowledge of methods and techniques used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program preferred
- Valid driver’s license required and must be capable of reporting to training location or local service center as needed
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Be able to work in a team-based environment and have a "safety first" attitude
- Familiar understanding of the English language
- Basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and using standard applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
