What You’ll Do
  • Regional leader for a team of 10-30 Parts Advisors at 5-10 sites/locations in their region, managing all supply chain activities
  • Driving the implementation of new initiatives and ensuring the team constantly works towards achieving the standards agreed with management and business partners
  • Role of system training provider and information multiplicator in their own region
  • Evaluating PA job performance and general behavior, and coaching Parts Advisors towards personal and professional development, identifying talent for promotions
  • Oversee the fulfillment of parts within the region from distribution centers, suppliers, and other incoming shipments
  • Monitor trends related to workshop load and fulfillment performance within the region
  • Be a liaison to IT/Material/Demand/Channel Planning for troubleshooting issues and in providing field feedback, including for systems and workflow improvements
What You’ll Bring
  • A people’s person that builds strong relationships, communicates efficiently, seeks and offers constructive feedback for self-improvement and to elevate others
  • Demonstrates a solid level of technical knowledge (can be previously acquired both through formal training, and on-the-job experiences)
  • Demonstrates proficiency with computer programs and Tesla-internal applications (advanced Excel spreadsheets, supply-chain related databases, ticketing systems)
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills, including ability to express well-reasoned, independent thought. Natural ability to speak and write effectively at all organizational levels
  • Flexible to travel up to 5 days per week within own region, and up to twice a month to locations outside of the Region (other regions, territorial central location, HQs)
  • Ideally 5 years of work experience in the automotive, supply chain, or service sectors (any other related and relevant experiences will be considered towards this requirement)
  • Ideally 2 years of work experience in Supply Chain (or external experience as Parts Shop Manager or Supply Chain Manager; preferably with people management)

  • Lead, coach, and develop a highly engaged team of technicians to achieve service output goals
  • Maintain appropriate shop records and inventories and manage smooth workflow in the service center
  • Serve as the process leader for shop activities, ensuring work standards are defined and systemically improved with input from service technicians and the rest of the service center team
  • Partner with Service Manager and other key stakeholders to establish targets for quality, speed, and cost in line with customer and business needs
  • Monitor to ensure that all employees comply with safety regulations and the service center's safety program
  • Work with employees to manage schedules and resolve technical and personnel problems
  • Conduct regularly scheduled one on one developmental meetings with team members to facilitate professional development and monitor team training requirements
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
  • Prior leadership experience (1-3 years) in a service-focused industry preferred; automotive expertise is not required
  • Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills, and an ethical execution of Tesla standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekday and weekend overtime
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license required

What You’ll Do
  • You represent the front line of Tesla’s unique global roadside program through building direct relationships with the top tier service providers within your region
  • Identify and confirm service provider leads that meet our level of service and business model. Partner with procurement to negotiate rates of service and confirm that provider meets the terms of the MSA
  • Lead in identifying and implementing Service provider opportunities for operational efficiency. This includes development, management and expansion of a world class service provider network. Responsible for correct procedures and processes, training, improvement of resource management and developing KPI’s for reporting
  • Develop rapport with Service Providers by utilizing an engaging, genuine, and proactive approach with regular communication. Assist in preparing a performance improvement plan for providers who are not currently meeting performance expectations. Monitor provider’s progress to meeting our standard. Assist Roadside Operations Manager with creation and management of supplier training materials in collaboration with our training and technical teams
  • Ability and willingness to perform as a team member on multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with high expectations for quality. Assist in supporting Tesla’s Customer Support Team to establish super-efficient call handling procedures; develop and enhance internal tools, processes and guidance materials
  • Ensure that region is aligned with market and global goals and objectives. Monitor progress of region’s performance through metric reporting. Evaluate customer feedback and engage in customer interaction to solve root causes and increase the overall customer experience from start to finish
  • Proactive and responsive resolution of network and service provider concerns, issues and problems within 48 hours. Flexible availability in order to support 24/7 operations as needed. Assist Roadside Operations Manager in special projects to enhance and optimize the roadside assistance program
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of customer service experience (emergency response and/or automotive preferred)
  • Proven ability to build develop and manage a supplier network. Knowledge of business requirements of subcontracting and relationship management. Demonstrated negotiation tactics and ability to influence others at all organizational levels. Experience working with customer service professionals
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal guidance and direction. Superior communication skills, written and oral
  • Have regional specific language skills (NA, APAC, EMEA)
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time. Willing to be on call 24/7
  • Valid driver’s license
