What You’ll Do
  • Maintain LabVIEW, Python, TestStand, and Golang production test software
  • Generate user interfaces (GUI’s) as well as troubleshooting tools to improve the diagnostic capability of existing production test software
  • Optimize automated processes to minimize cycle time and maximize uptime
  • Validate using data-driven statistical approaches (such as Gage R&R, and Cpk)
  • Design and industrial electrical control panels which are NFPA79/NEC/UL508A compliant, and create electrical, pneumatic and fluid schematics
  • Develop test according to test procedures and specifications for both new make and Remanufactured components
  • Provide on-site support for test equipment deployment
  • Create troubleshooting and maintenance documents for testers
  • Work with a team of Technicians to acquire new instruments and build fixtures to aid in verifying factory test equipment is operating correctly
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering, or the equivalent relevant experience
  • 4+ years of experience as a hands-on Manufacturing Test Software Engineer
  • Experience commissioning test equipment, and root causing tester vs product issues
  • Experience working with and debugging common communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, GPIB, etc.)
  • Experience with software version-control using one of the following tools: SVN, Git, or GitHub
  • Exposure to data analytics using MySQL
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN and SolidWorks
  • Experience with high voltage environments is preferred but not required
  • Understanding of three phase electrical systems, and power conversion electronics is a plus
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

  • Lead remanufacturing technicians on process issues analysis and problem solving
  • Monitor defect trends and escalate to responsible engineering, quality, and service teams
  • Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & corrective action tracking
  • Work with the training department ensuring manufacturing Instructions, versatility matrices and other technical documentation are current
  • Manages the cross-shift communication for the technician teams
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing setting, preferred
  • Experience in selecting and developing new team members
  • Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs)
  • Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
  • Communicate using excellent written and verbal skills; able to interface with executives and leaders daily
  • Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Fluent with standard MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work a flexible shift, including nights and weekends, if necessary

  • Experience in process development, equipment bring-up and an understanding of small volume, high variability manufacturing
  • Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing or 6-Sigma principles and ability to develop and maintain performance metrics
  • Proficient with MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
  • Experience selecting and developing new team members

What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 5 years experience in assembly and repair of electro-mechanical components or electric motors
  • Working knowledge of high voltage DC battery systems, or basic electronics and DC electrical systems
  • Proficient with hand tools and computer-based tools, including precision measuring equipment, electrical test equipment, and computer databases
  • Experience with semi-automated manufacturing equipment is highly desirable. Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Proficient with computer tools, including Word, Excel, QuickBase, and Outlook

As a Manager, you will be playing a critical role on the Gigafactory Production Team. You will lead a dynamic team of Supervisors, managing operations and metrics in critical areas of the Manufacturing floor.   • Ensure production teams receive effective training and workforce development

  • Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & an environment of continuous learning and improvement  as well as develop supervisory team for individual professional development

  • Ensure production teams utilize standardized work and consistent work practices across shifts and areas

  • Tesla people leaders are responsible for a variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams’ safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operations

What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ year experience managing teams of people in high volume manufacturing setting
  • BS or MS in Business or Technical discipline and/or evidence of exceptional experience
  • Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs)
