We are looking for a Sr. Industrial Engineer / Data Engineer (5+ yrs. of experience) that will be focusing on providing automations and data solutions to Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering teams. This position involves designing and creating Data Models, developing Analytics and Reporting solutions. They will be focusing on developing superior and strong internal resources to completely own the data inputs to our future simulation and analytical models.
In this role, you will focus on enhancing the methodology for predicting future state machine behavior by leveraging data from existing Tesla manufacturing lines, while developing robust techniques to accurately attribute this data to future line models. You will conduct in-depth analyses of yield data at various levels of granularity—such as station and process levels—and devise methods to precisely apply these insights to future line models. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software tools to improve visibility and usability for the broader Tesla team, ensuring seamless integration and utility across projects.
