  • Read and evaluate the financial performance guarantees in Tesla’s portfolio
  • Create reports, presentations, and graphs to show performance, status, problem histories, etc.
  • Investigate and explain discrepancies in historical data as well as energy models
  • Evaluate issues at individual and portfolio installations and create and implement action plans
  • Contribute to creating, developing, and implementing operating procedures / protocol
  • Take on and collaborate on projects
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable data analysis and data interpretation skills and mathematical prowess
  • Experience working with and analyzing large data sets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software - expect test during interview
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required (e.g., procedures/instructions)
  • Grasps basic concepts of electricity (AC/DC, current, voltage, resistance, power vs. energy, etc.) and has general familiarity with solar production estimation
  • Preferred: Can write SQL queries and knowledge of energy generation systems and/or solar energy modeling

What You’ll Do
  • Build and implement scalable, world-class employment policies and programs that balance legal risk with business impact. Help craft internal guidelines, procedures, change management processes and communications
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners in Legal, Government Relations, EH&S, Finance, and HR on complex projects to sustain and enhance employment law compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Monitor the complex and rapidly changing network of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, spot compliance issues, propose and then implement solutions
  • Partner with applicable HR teams – Total Rewards, Compensation, Recruiting and People Operations – to identify possible process changes needed because of new or modified policies
  • Drive investigation, training, guidance and change management for HRC initiatives and projects
  • Investigate, root cause and problem solve people-related issues in collaboration with the Employee Relations team
  • Incorporate compliance, operational efficiency, and usability into suggested process changes
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 5 years of HR compliance related experience; includes general HR, employee relations, employment law, paralegal experience
  • Experience with federal and state employment laws and regulations including Title VII, FEHA, ADA, ADEA, Family Medical Leave Act, California Family Rights Act, OFCCP, other EEO laws, wage and hour laws, and other federal and local laws affecting the employer-employee relationship
  • You can work both autonomously and collaboratively, and you will be effective at juggling and prioritizing multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Experience advising and finding creative solutions for wage and hour issues arising from both exempt and non-exempt workforces
  • Experience with ADA Title I reasonable accommodations
  • Experience with employee investigations

  • Develop record keeping for training, standard changes, and maintenance evidence within the guidelines of NERC standards
  • Provide regular audits of compliance and regulatory standards with new and existing projects
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience managing regulatory compliance within an Energy organization including NERC standards and compliance programs
  • Strong ability to read and understand project technical documentation, including electrical diagrams, engineering reports, and engineering drawings
  • Strong understanding of Market functions and processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, technical writing skills preferred
