What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Assembly of precision machine components with some machining of parts (milling and turning) as required for assembly of custom engineered automated machinery
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings assembly drawings and detail component drawings
- Mechanical systems testing and debug, systems commissioning
- Installation and troubleshooting of machines on-site
- Other duties as assigned
- Degree or Certificate in Mechanical Technology, Toolmaking or Machining, Millwright, completed apprenticeship, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of proven experience in assembly of custom automated machinery or other precision mechanical assembly is a strong plus
- Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, mechanical drawings and pneumatic schematics
- Familiar with basic hand tools and basic measuring tools (Vernier, micrometers, height gauge etc.) to tolerances of .001
- Familiar with operation of machine shop equipment (lathe / mill / surface grinder) and must have your own tools
- Ability to travel up to 30-50% domestically and internationally. Flight, food, and lodging are covered. Must have and maintain a valid passport
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
