Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and analyzes balance sheets and Profit and Loss (P&L) reports and validates postings and balances for a product aligned to a Line of Business (LOB) using knowledge of financial products, market risk profiles, and risk mitigation techniques and strategies
  • Supports the development of strategic and annual planning and implementation, performing profitability analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting for a product or general ledger account type
  • Oversees a set of product(s) or general ledger account(s) and maintains financial responsibility, including accountability for accuracy of financial reporting for Profit and Loss (P&L) activities
  • Partners closely with the front office, Operations, and Technology to define business finance processes and implement related technology solutions
  • Supports delivering, designing, maintaining, and enhancing Value at Risk Back-Testing (VBT) data and Management Information System (MIS) processes that may impact multiple product control businesses
  • Analyzes regulatory matters, such as the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) and Recovery and Resolutions Plans (RRP), to assess risk modeling practices within the bank

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years hands on experience in Product Control or Finance group

Models and Model Systems provide insight into many risk areas, including valuation modeling of residential real estate, loan default, exposure at default (EAD), loss given default (LGD), delinquency, prepayment, balances, pricing, risk appetite, revenues and cash flows.

  • Quantitative Development – Architect, implement, maintain, improve and integrate quantitative solutions on strategic GRA platforms. Outputs include GRA libraries that perform consumer risk model calculations, analytical tools, processes and documentation. Partner in defining, adopting, and executing GRA’s technical strategy.

  • Risk and Capital Management Capabilities – Build best in class quantitative solutions that enable the Retail and GWIM lines of business to effectively manage risk and capital, through the application of the disciplined BAU development process that includes extensive interaction with the FLU model owners and stakeholders throughout the quantitative lifecycle.

  • Infrastructure – Partner in driving forward the infrastructure to support the goals of GRA through code efficiencies, and expansion of quantitative capabilities to better leverage infrastructure and computational resources.

  • Documentation – Deliver concise, quantitative documentation to inform stakeholders, meet policy requirements, and enable successful engagement in regulatory exams (e.g., CCAR, CECL) via automated, modularized, and standardized documentation and presentations.

Qualified candidates must be able to work independently to provide sound economic reasoning, statistical analysis and deliver high quality modeling insights as well as modeling documentation. The ideal candidate is self-directed, collaborative, analytical, and proactive in execution and problem resolution. Specific tasks include:

  • Set priorities related to quantitative modeling in line with the bank’s overall strategy and prioritization.

  • Develop and design best in class models to satisfy stakeholder requirements.

Required Qualifications:Successful candidates will have a Master or PhD degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or similar discipline, and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in statistics, data science, econometrics, and other quantitative analysis.

Responsible for day to day servicing of Commercial and Large Corp Card clients, varying in complexity. Provides servicing assistance related to general inquiries and research related requests.

Key Responsibilities:

Service and support of simple and complex requests/inquiries from external clients via phone channel with an in depth understanding of Commercial Card products used by clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years previous experience working directly with clients in a Call Center environment.
  • Self-starter and independent worker, ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Must have excellent written communication skills with demonstrated client focus.
  • Superior follow through and initiative.
  • Highly organized, adapt at time management, and problem/solving/analytical.
  • Advanced skills within Microsoft applications.
  • Must be client focused, a team player, with effective communication skills and professionalism through use of proper phone etiquette.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement and sound-decision making skills a must.
  • Must foster teamwork by helping to create and maintain strong morale: cooperate with team members to resolve problems and achieve goals.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Group

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and analyzes balance sheets and Profit and Loss (P&L) reports and validates postings and balances for a product aligned to a Line of Business (LOB) using knowledge of financial products, market risk profiles, and risk mitigation techniques and strategies
  • Supports the development of strategic and annual planning and implementation, performing profitability analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting for a product or general ledger account type
  • Oversees a set of product(s) or general ledger account(s) and maintains financial responsibility, including accountability for accuracy of financial reporting for Profit and Loss (P&L) activities
  • Partners closely with the front office, Operations, and Technology to define business finance processes and implement related technology solutions
  • Supports delivering, designing, maintaining, and enhancing Value at Risk Back-Testing (VBT) data and Management Information System (MIS) processes that may impact multiple product control businesses
  • Analyzes regulatory matters, such as the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) and Recovery and Resolutions Plans (RRP), to assess risk modeling practices within the bank
  • Oversight on the official daily P&L explain, P&L substantiation to market events, significant transaction review and its provision for VaR backtesting and other downstream
  • Monthly Independent Price verification on both Derivatives and securities positions. Have a basic understanding and knowledge of financial models,
  • Calculation of the Valuation adjustment – Validation of appropriate application and use of models for books & records.
  • Maintaining/updating valuation adjustment & IPV Desk Level Procedures (DLP)
  • Preparation monthly & quarterly revenue and balance sheet commentary to senior managers and regulators
  • Regulatory capital disclosures, Price Testing, Sector analysis, Stress Test and Forecasting.
  • Volcker/Capital related validation activities such as Volcker balance sheet review, validation of Volcker and Capital attributes for books to ensure compliance with enterprise guidelines
  • Partner with Trading Desk, Trade Support, Operations, ECM and other partners on business support including new product review, accounting assessment, issue resolution
  • Coordination of the monthly close process and quarterly financial reporting requirements
  • Working on initiatives to simplify/automate manual processes

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years hands on experience in Product Control or Finance group
  • BS/BA Degree required (Finance, Accounting preferred)
  • Global Markets experience
  • Global Rates market knowledge – familiarity with a broad range of asset classes
  • Derivatives product and valuation knowledge – consisting of technical expertise of models used to reprice complex transactions
  • Advanced experience skills with Excel and complex spreadsheets
  • Control focused, analytical, team oriented, comfortable with complex products
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship management skill
  • Proven analytical skills including data reconciliation and interpretation.
  • Ability to identify and deliver process improvements.
  • Good business partnering skills
