, you will:

  • Support the project manager during all phases of the project including milestone deliverables, documentation, case management, and financial aspects
  • Develop and deliver monthly status reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal/external stakeholders on an as-needed basis and drive final customer acceptance milestones including completion of all documentation requirements, including commissioning, acceptance, and closing financial documentation
  • Organize and deliver small-scale projects while being responsible for managing the finance, schedule, change orders, and customers and coordinate to develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project and site teams; identify time-sensitive project needs
  • Track resources and project progress; participate in customer meetings, drive them on behalf of project managers as needed and capture notes during all phases of the project: from project start to close and punch list meetings and capture punch list from site commissioning and drive closure through close coordination with Siemens field service technicians, customer care team, project managers, factory personnel and vendors and attend meetings with customer and Siemens site team to update on progress site punch list
  • Document project events that impact the acceptance schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency, identify solutions and review with project manager to drive actions to minimize schedule and cost impact to the project and orientate for project field service technicians and provide all necessary project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.
  • Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation and ensure field service personnel scheduled to visit project sites have reviewed project documentation ahead of site visit
  • Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups during project development and support completion of project-specific close-out documentation and own and drive all aspects of the close milestone processing to achieve timely and clean project quality gates
  • Work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma orstate-recognizedGED
  • Experience (either on-the-job or through education) with project management and/or engineering in a directly related field/industry or as a Specialist/Technician within the building automation industry
  • Must be able todemonstrateanunderstanding ofcommercial building automation controlsor relatedincluding theability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and customer specifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • Must be 21 years of age andpossessa valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in the Siemens' fleet vehicle program
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Construction industry experience
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field

  • The pay range for this position is $54,180 - $92,880/ year and the annual incentive target is 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills,qualifications

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and related documents to understand project intentions, establishing comprehensive project schedules in coordination with the team while identifying crucial installation timelines
  • Oversee the procurement of supplies and materials required for project completion, and actively participate in project cost reviews to ensure financial efficiency
  • Assist the Operations Manager in contracting subcontractors, coordinating their activities to align with the project scope, schedules, and fiscal requirements while ensuring adherence to safety regulations
  • Conduct orientations for project technicians, providing all necessary project documentation such as scope of work, technical drawings, project contacts, and application-engineered diagrams
  • Diligently track project resources and progress, documenting any events impacting the schedule, scope, and overall efficiency; identify and pursue opportunities for project-specific change orders
  • Manage project-specific billing coordination with the accounting team and Operations Manager, schedule commissioning resources, expedite the return of mark-ups for as-built development, and ensure timely completion of project-specific close-out documentation

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of project management experience in the related industry for the Project Manager level:
    • HVAC/building automation controls, fire alarm, or security systems; experience in a related construction industry may also be considered
  • 5+ years of project management experience in the related industry for the Senior Project Manager level:
    • HVAC/building automation controls, fire alarm, or security systems
  • Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and specifications, and electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams; knowledge of industry-standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens vehicle program
  • High School Diploma or state-recognized GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related technical degree
  • Industry related certifications
