Description:

Job Description:

Siemens Logistics LLC is seeking a highly-motivated Contracts Administrator to provide a broad range of commercial contract management functions in support of our airport baggage handling system projects throughout the United States. This position requires an individual with at least five years of contract administration experience. Excellent organizational, communicational, and coordination skills are key to this role, as well as the flexibility to adjust and thrive in a dynamic environment with changing requirements, schedules, and priorities for multiple projects and assignments.

This position will be based in Irving, Texas and will report to the head of legal and compliance for North America.

The Contracts Administrator will work in a team-oriented and results-focused environment with other contract professionals, attorneys, project managers, commercial project managers, and procurement team members on a variety of airport baggage handling system and operations maintenance projects throughout the United States. Range of responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to review and understand customer requirements and contract terms.
  • Ensure and monitor flow down of customer’s Terms and Conditions to Suppliers involved in the execution of the project.
  • Prepare and review sales contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance throughout the contract lifecycle, create reports, and initiate actions in case of deviations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, such as finance and operations, to ensure timely invoicing and delivery of goods or services as per contract terms.
  • Control of administrative processes in the area of contract management in collaboration with the project team.;
  • Ensure that contracts are processed in line with internal guidelines, identify opportunities for further process improvements and recommend enhancements to optimize the contract administration process.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ Degree or 10 years equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably with a background in the construction industry.
  • Proven ability to initiate appropriate actions and follow-up actions with minimal supervision.
  • Proven experience in supporting project managers and other project team members throughout all phases of construction projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated desire and ability to quickly learn and understand new contractual and legal topics.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of contractual and legal concepts involved in construction projects.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency and thoroughness.
  • Ability to interact and cooperate with all levels of management within a fast-paced and diverse multi-cultural environment.
  • Skilled in working collaboratively as a key player on multiple teams simultaneously.
  • Flexible team player willing to accept new challenges and assignments based on needs of the business.

o The starting pay range for this position is $87,000 - $118,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
