What you'll do
As a Senior CI/CD Developer, you will define and implement pipelines for Insight Apps and Data Products. You will have the opportunity to influence the design of automation of a unified data lake and analytics platform at SAP. Other Lines of Business will reach out to you for guidance and best practices on how to adopt the CI/CD concept to deliver Data Products and Insight Apps at scale. You will create productive and model pipelines, explore new concepts and advise Lines of Business to execute accordingly. You will develop in sprints with an agile mind-set focusing on efficiency through small iterations while not jeopardizing overall quality.
You will work on all aspects of automation within the lifecycle of a Data Product and Insight App including different stages including development, integration, test, and delivery.
stay updated with emerging trends and technologies to keep the development strategy aligned with the state of the art in the market for CI/CD and DevOps.
What you bring
4+ years of experience in a CI/CD, DevOps, or SW developer role
Experience in one pipeline orchestrator like Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps (preferred)
Experience with Python, Selenium web automation, shell scripting, Docker and GitHub
Ability to communicate requirements in a complex pipeline environment towards different technology providers and their various technology stacks (Datalake, Data Warehouse and Data Visualization tool)
Knowledge about different levels of test automation like unit tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests and how to integrate the test execution and result analysis into a pipeline
Experience with Spark, and/or Datalake file stores preferred.

As an intern, you will be part of the shared services team, whose main responsibility is to support the Marketing organization with campaign/activity line creation and focuses heavily on purchasing related topics.
