What you`ll do

The Role:

• Unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a Foundation Model on structured business data
• Design, develop and manage tools and data pipelines that enable the processing of tabular data at scale
• Extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources, while ensuring its high quality. This includes relevant data extraction from SAP S/4HANA. The data is subsequently processed, enriched, and utilized as training and benchmark data for the Tabular Foundation Model.
• In close partnership with LoB domain experts from the S/4HANA development organization, understand and interpret SAP S/4HANA data, metadata, and other development artifacts.
• Extract relevant information from SAP S/4HANA for further processing and enrichment of training data for the Tabular Foundation Model.
• Work closely with data scientists to share SAP S/4HANA data insights and specifics, enabling the model to be accurately tailored to S/4HANA data

What you bring

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or other relevant disciplines.
• 2+ years of related professional experience
• Generic understanding of SAP S/4HANA backend and data model (e.g., VDM, CDS Views, RAP, OData) as well as the Data Dictionary is required.
• Proficiency in SQL and software engineering in Python
• Hands-on knowledge in cloud stack (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and handling large-scale data (>1M files; >10TB volume) is a plus
• Experience with data modelling, ABAP, Machine Learning and/or Knowledge Graph technologies (e.g., RDF, SPARQL) is a plus.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Within the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS), you will be the main point of contact for SAP's private cloud customers - this includes our offerings RISE with SAP S/4 HANA Cloud, Private edition, SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and Cloud Application Services (CAS). On a regular basis, you will align with your customers, plan and steer the engagement together with your customer. You will be the customer’s ambassador in the Enterprise Cloud Services organization and help to drive our business in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.

• Owns, develops, and grows the client relationship.

• Be the voice of the Client within SAP and recognize as the escalation point for all issues with regards to the engagement operations.

• Fully responsible for the delivery of outcome based ECS portfolio together with the ECS Project Lead and Technical Service Management (incl. cross LoB integration)

• Ensures seamless alignment across multiple stakeholders, CSS, SI and Suppliers etc.

• Drives Customer Success – takes accountability for ECS service delivering expected outcomes to the business.

DELIVERABLES

• Own and grow the client engagement for SAP Enterprise Cloud Services and act as the voice of the client within SAP.

• Setup proactive service plan and conduct regular service review meetings with clients (operational and strategic topics).

WORK EXPERIENCE

5 plus years of IT industry experience in SAP technology

The professional will work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications. The individual must have strong technical knowledge of SAP systems and databases. Additional responsibilities include managing periodic maintenance activities, refreshes, patching, and upgrades.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE:

You will be responsible for the technical and architectural support of our Canadian Sovereign Cloud environments. You must:

• Act as an SAP solution architect accountable for the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA capabilities
• Strong knowledge of multi-system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies (Global focus desired), in the areas of build and support for ECC, CRM, PI, EP, BW/4HANA, and HANA.
• Design, implement, monitor, and optimize SAP landscapes / workloads and dependent technologies (FRUN, LAMA, Solution Manager, etc.)
• Offer comprehensive knowledge on SAP S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration path, methodology and tools.
• Understand the SAP high availability or disaster recovery (DR) architecture, network and virtual technologies (load-balancer, virtual machine).
