What you'll do:

• Be responsible for infastructure bootstrapping topics in Cloud Foundry environment (BOSH and K8s-based) for the Business Technology Platform.
  • Adopt IaaS services and implement features to meet our clients' needs.
  • Implement improvements in the already existing infastructure components (proprietary, load balancers, routing services, jump hosts, etc.) with focus on availability, reliability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and efficiently resolve incidents related to infastructure components.
  • Work with and manage specifics in the offerings and services of different IaaS providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba) or open-source alternatives like OpenStack.
• Focus on sustainable, fully automated solutions with high-quality.
• Develop and improve the Continous Delivery infastructure based on Jenkins, Concourse, and GitHub.
• Implement and support system-wide observability capabilities.
  • Deploy and utilize monitoring tools like Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, etc.
  • Discover and push environment limits by defining, using, and analyzing metrics-driven alerts.
• Collaborate and communicate with different teams across different organizations and global locations.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree. Alternitavely, a high school diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Good understanding of modern cloud architectures.
• Experience coding in at least one of the following - shell scripting (bash), Python (experience with Ruby & Go is considered an advantage).
• Experience with git source control management, build and delivery infastructure.
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP protocols, DNS, OSI model, routing, load balancing, CDN, etc.)
• CI/CD best practices, automation environments, IaC (Infastructure as Code) concepts.
• Knowledge of tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Vault, etc.
• Monitoring and logging with Grafana, Elastic stack.
• 2+ years of experience working with Linux/Unix-based systems.
• Excellent communication skills (mail, phone, and face-to-face).
• Fluency in English.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Investigate and resolve complex, real-world customer issues related to SAP BTP.
• Deliver Core Customer Support by Solving complex customer issues in team environments (swarming) and individual-driven actions (incident solving or real-time support), in cooperation with experienced support engineers if necessary while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
• Escalate sensitive customer issues to component owner, creating an action plan and communicating it back to the customer / beneficiary.
• Use SAP and third-party tools to diagnose issues on customer systems.
• Create knowledge documents, tools, and processes to support our customers, and to help colleagues prevent future issues (WIKI content, Knowledge Base Articles, Guided Answers, …).
• Participate in shift work, including weekends, as scheduled.
• Develop product specialization in at least one product area.
• Continuously learn and master SAP software used by industries, governments, and multinational companies.
• Contribute to innovation projects aimed at achieving our Vision and Goals and act as a Change Leader in achieving those projects.
