What you'll do:

As the Solution Advisor (SA), you will be the go-to person for any solution or product questions within the sales team. You will leverage your deep expertise in specific solutions to support the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to post-sale customer support. Additionally, you will assist customers in expanding their current SAP footprint to maximize value for their organization.

  • Provide deep solution-specific expertise to support new sales and adoption for key customers
  • Provide both standard and customized/personalized solution demonstrations that bring SAP solutions to life and show customers the value of SAP.
  • Support the Account Team by delivering solution presentations and events to identify and qualify new opportunities and drive adoption and consumption of SAP solutions
  • Evaluate account qualification criteria to determine further investment in pursuing opportunities
  • Establish yourself as a thought leader within the account team and fine-tune account strategy
  • Collaborate with the team in creating overall themes and competitive differentiation
  • Conduct vigorous dry runs on strategic deals and customer engagements
  • Transition engagement to implementation partner/ Services teams effectively
  • Engage with customers to continue selling the vision of SAP solutions and ensure eagerness for renewal
  • Leverage digital assets throughout the customer engagement, including demos, presentations, and other content

What you bring:

  • 5-7 years of professional work experience with large software/IT organizations, preferably in a solution and/or architecture advisory role
  • 3-5 years of relevant SAP BTP and/or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) experience in a customer-facing role
  • Expertise with Business Technology Platform (BTP) components (application development, automation, integration, AI)
  • Functional knowledge of S/4HANA applications and/or optimization of business processes using SAP BTP would be helpful
  • Strong understanding of Clean Core Strategy is an advantage
  • Viewed as a solution expert and trusted advisor with a track record of success
  • Strong executive presence and storytelling skills

The Business Transformation Services (BTS) Enterprise Architect role will lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives for SAP NS2’s most strategic customers in the Regulated Industries Federal and DOD market areas. The responsibilities of this role include creating strategic and tactical roadmaps charting the deployment of digital solutions SAP offers while developing compelling business cases to help guide our customer’s strategic decision-making activities.

  • The BTS Enterprise Architect will provide comprehensive advice to our customers on long- and short-term opportunities for their key strategic imperatives and recommend innovations which anticipate the future direction of both business and IT stakeholders in the Finance area.
  • Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with our customers IT and business executives
  • Work effectively across multiple functions and teams to define clear requirements to achieve business outcomes
  • Analyze key business and IT requirements in the Finance area
  • Develop strategic roadmaps encompassing the evolution of enterprise business solution portfolios from current to future state
  • Identify improvement potentials for selected lines of business
  • Influence transition states toward joint business outcomes building on SAP solution value

What you bring:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation - able to lead customer engagements at an executive level
  • Proven excellent knowledge in SAP ECC, S/4HANA and cloud solutions with principal consulting skills in at least one functional area (e.g. Plan to Produce, Acquire to Retire).
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to estimate the financial impact of various solution architecture alternatives
  • Sound knowledge of discovery phase engagements and estimation methods
  • 10+ years of SAP solution experience, 15+ years consulting experience
  • 12+ years of solution and/or architecture (business & IT) experience
  • DOD Architecture experience is preferred
  • US Navy experience is ideal
  • MBA preferred
