Private Cloud Productsorganization. We are looking for highly skilled developers who will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving customer issues, developing, and implementing new solutions, and providing ongoing support for existing solutions. In your day-to-day tasks, you will need:

• Ability to develop deep product knowledge at functional and technical level to be able to analyse complex software issues and provide corrections for them and also develop, and maintain on-going developments.
• Ability to quickly ramp-up on latest AI and Gen-AI technologies and utilize them in suitable use cases for SAP’s product roadmaps.

What you bring:

As a Developer you will focus on the following tasks:

• Execute and deliver on the product backlog of the development scrum team.
• Align the development, testing and delivery of the scenario and focus topics of the scrum team.
• Develop high quality code, document and execute unit tests, integration and acceptance tests for functions
• Work closely with product owners, remote development teams and other experts to ensure efficient development execution with strong adherence to development processes.
• Efficient customer support with quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely and high-quality solutions.
• 4-8 years of work experience.

What you bring :

You hold a degree in computer science or engineering (or a related field) and have 5-8 years of experience in development of S/4HANA software solutions based on ABAP OO,RAP, Fiori/UI5 with high performance, scalability, usability, and quality.

• Very good knowledge of Object-oriented programming ABAP OO , CDS and Annotations, RAP
• Knowledge on SAP UI5 /Fiori
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in working with scrum teams
• Domain knowledge of Procurement is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills with a performance-driven attitude.

What you bring

• Technical writing – you will update the text displayed by software graphical interfaces, online help, and user guides. The writing will be done in English, and you may also develop interactive images and learning videos in collaboration with Product Managers and Developers.

• You will be supported by User Assistance experts and have a dedicated mentor. You will be trained in DITA and tools for developing new media. The content you develop will be reviewed by an experienced technical writer who will help you adhere to technical writing guidelines and standards.

Required Skills

• Excellent level of English (written and spoken B2 at least)

• Curiosity for new technologies (knowledge in HTML, XML, or JavaScript would be an advantage), as well as some knowledge in accounting/finance

• Ability to analyze the information needs of diverse users

• Skills in graphic design and video (Camtasia)

Duration: 12/24 months

This contract is subject to remuneration in line with the applicable collective agreement (Convention SYNTEC).

What you`ll do

You will work in the context of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) which provides the multi-cloud foundation and a layer of abstraction for all applications to run on both public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud) and private cloud. More specifically you will work on a specific technical Backing Service, the Postgres as a service.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Design, code, test and assure quality of complex product features with team members
• Resolve complex issues within own area of expertise and support others
• Work in multi-cloud environment within DevOps setup.
• Use Infrastructure as Code methodologies to automate and manage infrastructure and services
• Learn new technologies/patterns and incorporate into the product with minimal disruption.

• Define and formulate coding best practices and guidelines for clean code
• Initiate, collaborate and inculcate positive development practices into an agile team
• Work with architects in designing and delivering robust, secure cloud-native applications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Excellent university degree (bachelor, diploma, master, PhD) in computer science or related engineering discipline
• 9 to 12 years of relevant industry experience

Mandatory:

• Sound understanding of cloud-native architecture, development, design and cloud platforms
• Good knowledge of software design patterns including microservices and integrated systems.
• Excellent hands-on proficiency in NodeJS, Typescript/Javascript and possibly Go
• Sound knowledge of relational database management systems with focus towards SQL and administration.
• Experience running systems on container-based platforms (Kubernetes and/or Cloud Foundry)
• Confidence working within Unix / Linux shell environments with focus on BASH/Python for automating scripting
• IaaS experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, GCP
• Experience working with CI/CD
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (written & spoken)Experience and willingness to work in a project setup following agile principles and practices
