The Role:

As an Enhanced Operations Service Specialist - you are responsible for:

1. Ensuring Day to Day quality service delivery and defining, tracking, and achieving various ambitious service KPI and SLA’s.
2. Quick responses during escalations, take proactive steps to avoid escalations, identifying and driving initiatives to improve the operation and stability for our customer system and Driving initiatives to standardize and simplify server operations.
3. Root Cause analysis for Service requests execution failures, Repetitive failures, Long running incidents, Customers and systems triggering repetitive alerts, and other issues – continuous improvement methodologies
4. Analyse root-causes of the failures (if known) in achieving the KPIS and define a corrective action plan, with well-defined mitigation steps.
5. Coordinate and orchestrate the work between the various teams with Strong collaboration with other units within and outside Enterprise Cloud Service units.
6. Bring in Continuous Improvement Initiatives, to address customer pain points and enhancements in the Service Delivery
7. Process improvement initiatives for daily operational activities
8. Streamline standard operating procedures by focussing on automation enhancements.
9. Proactive Operation services for the customer and service on-demand with improvements plans to all the stakeholders involving the customer.

The Role Requirement:

• Hands-on experience in one of the areas like Basis, System Performance Management, Lifecycle events (Upgrades / Updates), SAP Project Management, Support, Escalation Management. Knowledge of products like SAP Cloud-Connector, S4 would be an added advantage.
• Practical knowledge with SAP technologies like SAP NetWeaver, Business Objects, SAP HANA and SAP Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE)
• Experience with Managed/Hosting services or SAP Private Cloud or Public Cloud Operations/Support.
• Application Security, Backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, System Copies, export-import, high availability, and disaster recovery strategy, export-import.
• Experience in Problem Management, Root cause analysis methodologies

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of related professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technologies Management.
• Cloud knowledge (e.g., experience of working in Public Cloud Domains like Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP)
• Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent and proactive way.
• Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking
• Very good communication and networking skills
• Experience of safeguarding customer relationship.
• Strong customer service focus
• Very good English language skill.

What you'll do

Within this group, data management consultants work with project managers, businesses owners, analyst teams and clients, building reports/dashboards and implement predictive algorithms, as well as ETL processes, data warehouses, database prototypes, to deliver the customer requirements. They also document code, provide progress reports, perform code review and peer feedback. Data management consultants job duties include:

· Actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization and Go-Live of Customer implementation projects

· Development and realization of strategic initiatives like migration, data quality and data integration

· Follow Manager's guidance and perform required actions in the areas of self-development and utilization

· Perform tasks as required by the Project Manager on the assigned projects

· Act as a trusted advisor/technical architect to the customer

· Deliver project trainings, conduct customer workshops and support presales / bid management

· Ready to travel for assignments within EMEA-DACH (up to 30% of working time)

What you bring

Data Management experience - at least 2 years

· ETL tools and/or Data Migration

· System connectivity/administration is a plus

Programming (at least one of the below)

· Programming: C++, C#, Java or other OOP languages

· Web programming: JSP, EJB, HTML/CSS, PHP, XML, ASP.NET

· SAP ABAP knowledge is considered a plus

· Familiar with one of the following: SAP HANA, Oracle, Sybase, MS-SQL, DB2 or equivalent

Education and qualifications

· Studies in one of the following disciplines: Databases, System integrations, Computer Engineering

· Curriculum for SAP BW or SAP HANA consultants is a plus

· Knowledge in implementing software projects

Foreign languages

· English fluent

· German language is considered a plus

You will play a vital role as a trusted partner and act as a strategic and sparring partner to the business, providing consulting, strategic insights, and guidance on all relevant P&C topics.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide outstanding strategic consulting to the Senior Leadership Team combined with high operational excellence to accelerate SAP’s Next Level of Transformation.

• Drive the strategic priorities of the SAP People Agenda and ensure consistent execution within Business Area while influencing scalable solutions with P&C Services and P&C Practices (Global Total Rewards, Talent Discovery, Diversity & Inclusion etc.).

• Translating business-specific needs towards P&C and vice versa while driving people and organizational initiatives to facilitate business transformation and cultural change.

• Provide consulting, strategic insights and guidance on all relevant P&C topics and support development and implementation of global products and programs across all relevant P&C areas, like providing consulting, strategic insights, and guidance on all relevant HR topics.

What you bring:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

• Min of 5 years relevant experience in People & Culture/HR Business partner roles, ideally in a matrixed and international environment.

• Good understanding of SAP’s Strategy, Business Model, and organizational set-up.
