What You’ll Do

As an Account Executive within the SAP Academy for Customer Success, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Successfully complete a 10-month learn-apply program, which includes classroom phases and field phases with your sales team, that enhances your support in the role and is a critical customer-facing function within our Customer Success Board Area.
  • Immerse yourself in multi-dimensional, experiential learning focusing on digital transformation, global intelligence, human skills, business and technology acumen, solution/industry knowledge, and strategy/tools/process.
  • Learn how to drive value across the customer lifecycle through solution adoption and ongoing renewals that foster account expansion.
  • Receive onboarding in your local market with on-the-job training and mentoring by a Senior Account Executive in the field. You will be able to work both behind the scenes and directly with customers.

SSE focus areas:

  • SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM) - Knowledge in Business Process Management/Business Process Automation applications.

What You Bring

  • 2–3 years of professional experience in a quota-carrying sales environment in a technology company OR in a role with significant exposure to business processes.
  • Experience generating opportunities, qualifying leads, and managing sales pipelines across a defined territory with a proven track record of building customer relationships and articulating value propositions.
  • A cooperative and productive approach to working relationships, internally and externally.
  • A strong ability to quickly learn new concepts, adapt to changing environments, and apply knowledge to deliver results.

What you'll do

You will work in the context of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) which provides the multi-cloud foundation and a layer of abstraction for all applications to run on both public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and private cloud. More specifically you will work on SAP Build – A low code no code platform that makes application development and automations faster and easier with a simplified and streamlined builder experience, leveraging enterprise-grade scaling and security.

As a Senior Developer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform, with a specific focus on SAP Build. One must possess superior technical leadership, communication skills and demonstrate independence in decision making.

  • Lead design, development, and deployment of full stack solutions on SAP BTP, leveraging SAP Build.
  • Become SPOC for key topics taking full ownership of deliverables.
  • Lead by example in coding standards, solution design, and professional conduct, setting a benchmark for the team.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level developers, helping them enhance their skills and deliver high-quality work.
  • Expert in creating Restful APIs using Spring Boot applications, IAS, and subscription handling to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality applications.
  • Collaborate with architects and product owners to translate business needs into scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Build responsive UIs with Angular/modern JS frameworks (SAPUI5/React) and back-end services in Java Spring Boot integrated with BTP services.
  • Implement secure authentication/authorization using IAS and manage subscription-based models.
  • Apply clean code, perform code reviews, ensure CI/CD integration, testing, and performance optimization.
  • Innovate with AI Core and Gen-AI to enhance solution capabilities.
  • Stay current with SAP, cloud, and AI trends for adoption recommendations.

Must Have:

  • 7–12 years of experience in cloud-native full stack development with deep expertise in Java Spring Boot, node, Angular.
  • Recognized expert in SAP BTP with extensive knowledge of its architecture, SaaS design, and multi-cloud platforms.
  • Proven expertise in SAP BTP services (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, XSUAA, Destination, Event Mesh, SaaS onboarding).
  • Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as Angular and integration with SAP services.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, security, and agile practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

What you bring
