Purpose and Objective

What you'll do -

As an IT Technology Consultant, you will be responsible for:

· Handling Incidents, Alerts, and Service Requests

· Delivery and maintenance of complex SAP Landscapes by providing technical expertise and support.

· Planning, setup, implementation, and operation of SAP technologies, achieving ambitious SLAs

· Conceptual design, configuration, and administration of server landscapes with focus on Linux Operating systems

· Troubleshooting and resolving any hardware, OS, App and DB related issues that impact the business

· Managing daily operations ensuring high availability

· Proper documentation, definition of technical operational concepts and guidelines for the implemented SAP landscapes and roll out of this information/knowledge to the rest of the

· Coordination with international teams in global projects / crisis handling / de-escalation initiatives

· While cross-trained in all topic areas (Basis/application, OS and Database), you’ll specialize in one of these areas and own incidents and service requests closure end-to-end

What you bring -

· BE / BTech / MCA from a reputable institute

· 1 to 3 years of work experience as Technical SAP NetWeaver Consultant (ABAP and Java Basis Administration)

· Working knowledge on Business Object Products (BOBI, BODS etc)

· Working knowledge in UNIX/Linux environment, HANA DB and Sybase ASE databases.

· Basic knowledge of Network and Storage

· Experience working in an international environment, being able to work effectively with international and virtual teams

· Capable in technical documentation and creation of knowledge-based assets (KBAs)

· Ability to continuously acquire new knowledge proactively and independently

· Analytical and solution-oriented thinking

· Exposure to ITIL framework

· Working knowledge in UNIX/Linux environment, HANA DB and Sybase ASE databases

· Exposure to network services like DNS, LDAP, Samba, sFTP, Sendmail, Postfix

· Basic understanding of NFS, BlockDevice, Raid concepts

· Scripting experience - Any of Shell, Perl, Python, Go, or similar

· Working experience in Virtualization (XEN, VMware)

· Experience with OS monitoring, backup/restore, configuration automation technologies (Chef)

YOUR FUTURE ROLE:

The Role:

Working as a lead architect for a specific project as part of the ECS CAE Technology and Architecture Cloud Automation and Innovation team to support several strategic projects and architecture initiatives to improve our BUILD and RUN processes as well as automation. You will be responsible to lead one of these projects end to end to deliver in time and budget.

YOUR PROFILE

• Experienced IT system landscape architect with proven track record of leading complex architecture setups across distributed systems in the context of SAP Technology.
• At least 15 years of SAP Technical Consultant and expertise in S4Hana and NetWeaver, SAP Certification is a plus
• Deep knowledge on SAP Security Standards with hands-on experience with SNC and SSL, SAP Security Certification is a plus
• Solid technical experience with SAP Applications and associated SAP Tools like Landscape Management (Lama), Focused Run (FRUN), etc. is a plus.
• Software development background in ABAP, Java, Python or similar is a plus
• Strong technical experience with Encryption standards, PKI infrastructures, Host intrusion detection and Vulnerability management (OpenSCAP).
• Technical experience on ECS supported hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP) as well as on private cloud. Hyperscaler certification is a plus.
• Solid technical experience with end-to-end automation for provisioning and operating SAP system landscapes and their life cycle management.
• Solid technical experience of Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management and Version control systems (GIT).
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and automated integration and deployment of agile principles.

THE ROLE:

You will be responsible to drive continuous improvement in order to increase operation, availability and efficiency. Infrastructure landscape re-architecture and new technology adoption is another important part. Global thinking and a strong customer focus are essential within the new Enterprise Cloud Services program.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a Senior Database Consultant, you will be responsible for the database operations, collaborate with virtual teams for day-to-day operations and drive projects.

- You will be acting as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Database topics (High Availability/ Backup and Recovery/ Performance Troubleshooting/ Upgrade (Automation)/ Security)

- You will contribute to daily operations in handling priority incidents

- Drive automation improvements for the topics that you own as SME

- Internal stakeholder alignment for bringing enhancements on the topics

- Work on pattern analysis for continous improvements

- Contribute to DB on-calls based on rotation during APJ on-call shift hours.

WHAT YOU BRING:

- Good knowledge in SUSE Linux, RHEL (beneficial)

- Exposure to automation tools/ scripting or processes

- Very strong experience in DB operations (HANA/ ASE),

- Strong understanding of all critical activities in Database

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

- 10 + years in customer experience and operational roles, with experience in handling incidents and service requests.

- Good experience in High availability (HSR), Backup and Recovery, Database admin operations like table distribution, partitioning, upgrade etc.

- Troubleshooting performance issues and tuning SQL queries during performance regressions.

- Understanding of Database security concepts.

- Excellent communication skills (in English)

- Professional training and certification (C_HANATEC or equivalent), having certification on any Hyperscaler is beneficial.

What you will do

As Senior DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Deployment, upgrade and lifecycle management of the cloud infrastructure and hosted SAP products.
• Creating scripts and assisting with automated deployment processes.
• Desig and deploy key SaaS Applications and Management elments.
• Setup and configuration of tools to monitor the applications, security, and auditing
