Also, one will evaluate speech recognition / text-to-speech / translation for Canadian French on our latest Galaxy devices. Leading the mobile industry in Canada and plays critical role to deliver world’s leading technologies to Canadian market. Sets new standards on quality of new services and technologies allowing best performance results. Requires to work under pressure and fast paced environment with multiple project deadlines.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Requires to verify and validate new mobile technology features introduced in Canadian market in both English and Canadian French
  • Requires to evaluate ASR/TTS/Translation in English and Canadian French
  • Confirm specifications and requirements of new mobile technologies based on quality standards
  • Ability to work independently away from office
  • Maintain SW testing resources
  • Communicate and report to corresponding counterparts to complete project specifications and deliver validated results.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Network Communication, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field

Knowledge:

  • Work level speaking and writing in English and Canadian French
  • General understanding of speech recognition, text-to-speech and translation
  • Work level understanding of SDLC and STLC
  • Strong understanding in Mobile technologies and terminologies in 3G/4G
  • Understanding of 5G technologies: NSA, SA, Sub6, mmWave, NRCA, VoNR, EPSFB
  • Understanding of 5G network design and architecture: gNB, AMF, SMF, UDM, AUSF, UPF
  • Understanding of latest mobile features: eSIM, DSDS, Android 14

Experience:

  • 0-5 Years of Mobile Quality Assurance experience

1. External & Internal Inspections

  • Plan Samsung's compliance and audit process and monitor compliance and professional independence standards. Responsibilities include planning, execution, review and reporting of the quarterly audit cycles.
  • Prepare communication with Executives and/or key external parties (i.e. marketing vendors) to discuss critical issues and develop plans to minimize any issues for successful business operations.
  • Perform annual inspections of business sites, including subsidiaries, to determine its compliance against corporate-wide regulations and relevant laws. For incompliance, support Director on developing remedial plans.
  • Analyze multiple datasets to perform root cause and predictive analysis and help create qualitative and quantitative risk and compliance reports.

2. Audit Planning

  • Identify areas of risk exposure and draft investigation proposals prioritizing critical areas on a quarterly basis.
  • Per risk areas, conduct simulated impact to the business and share it with the Director of Internal Audit, and CEO/CFO.

3. Training & Compliance

  • Design & support with the development of risk management training courses per HQ guidelines.
  • Provide support for the Legal Department in their effort to minimize any compliance risks (training, compliance pledge collection, etc.).
  • Ensure proper localization of HQ/NAHQ guidelines and policies, requesting the Legal department's support when necessary. An immense amount of translation may be required.

Education:

  • University degree or college diploma preferred (preferably in business or similar focus).

Knowledge:

  • Enterprise Reporting System exposure (preferably SAP) is ideal.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other office products.
  • Strong research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply conceptual framework to new and unique situations.
  • Experience in responding to complex inquiries, performing research, analyzing data and identifying potential issues, arriving at conclusions, and documenting results/findings to support conclusions.
  • Excellent business writing and communication skills, with a great attention to detail and ability to generate high quality deliverables.
  • Fluent in English and Korean language required (speaking, reading, writing).

Experience:

  • A minimum 5-7 years required in audit with a large professional services firm or experience in internal audit functions.
  • Practical knowledge of operational risks and internal controls framework.
  • Experience in complex organizations with audit experience across multiple business units including a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Project Management experience an asset.
  • Certified Internal Audit Designation considered an asset.

Go To Market (GTM) Project – 60%

  • Develop and manage all aspects of the New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, sales, retail, training, supply chain and operations primes to create / maintain the project plan (action item list) and prioritize and schedule project deliverables.
  • Communicate to all stakeholders on project progress against designed plan, requirements, quality measures, compliance with processes, highlight risks and issues, drive resolution and escalate when required to resolve issues, variances and develop actions plans to manage changes or issues.
  • Gather content from cross functional teams and maintain Go To Market Plan / Deck / Excels.
  • Manage product launch planning activities.
  • Manage partner communications around NPI timelines and deliverables.
  • Provide regular status reports to the Leadership Team (SECA and HQ).

Executive Reporting – 30%

  • Work with each business unit and the leaders across MX division to understand the business strategy, challenges and priorities to develop, socialize and manage a multi-year strategy.
  • Populate Ad Hoc or Regular executive reports to communicate the business performance / positioning, market trend; sell-thru focused promotional initiatives and measure, ROI of marketing / sales initiatives.
  • Assist Ad hoc report/project (internal/NAHQ/HQ) based on request and for improve process.
  • Conduct, analyze and report on trends and development in technology and formulate strategic courses of action.

Data Analysis / Research - 10%

  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through data analysis, and implement corrective actions working closely with marketing and product teams.
  • Provide insights / do data analysis for ad hoc research reports using data gathered internally and also using market research and 3rd party data available.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree inBusiness/Science/Engineering.
  • PMP certification.

Knowledge:

  • Strong Microsoft office skills, especially with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with project management and process mapping tools (Microsoft Visio, Project, etc.).
  • Thorough understanding of managing large, multi-stakeholder project deployments.
  • Able to identify risks early, exercises good judgement when escalating issues of varying urgency.
  • Sharp attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and troubleshoot potential issues.
  • Ability to manage relationships in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating persistence and problem solving skills.
  • Professionalism, positive attitude, and the ability to work well with diverse perspectives are keys to success in this position.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean.
  • High comfort level working in a mixed matrix and fluid environment.
  • Ability to present to concisely and with impact to executive audiences.

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years’ business or consulting experience in IT, Consumer Electronics and/or Telecommunication industry in strategy, planning, or marketing analysis preferred.
  • Experience in managing vendors to review RFP/Contract and amendments, ensuring alignment with Legal requirements and relationship building.
  • Must be self-motivated, hardworking, energetic and a team player in order to achieve objectives, program implementations and team goals and to complete assignments within established time frames and specifications.
  • Previous Project Management experience as it relates to New Product Introduction in the telecommunications and IT sector.
  • Requires experience with product introduction projects from ideation, planning, business case preparation and approval all the way to product marketing, product catalogue, operational processes and CRM, sales enablement and product launch activities.
