Job Duties: Architecting and building data engineering infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services such as Airflow, EMR, ECS, S3, Glue, and others. Implement and manage data orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow to schedule, monitor, and optimize data processing tasks. Enhancing dbt (data build tool) functionality to integrate with the cloud data platform through custom utilities, improving CI/CD processes. Advocate for metadata-driven design principles to improve data lineage, documentation, and governance. Monitor and optimize data pipelines for efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, employing abstract class methodology to ensure platform performance. Security and compliance are critical, requiring adherence to data encryption, access controls, and auditing standards. Collaboration with data engineers, scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders is necessary to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Maintaining comprehensive documentation of data engineering processes, pipelines, and architecture is also essential.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or a related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.


A related technical degree required (Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) Apache Airflow and MWAA; (3) AWS services (VPC, EC2, Lambda, S3, or Glue); (4) Terraform; (5) PySpark; (6) React; (7) C++; (8) SQL; (9) Metadata-driven design; (10) Object-Oriented Programming (OOP); (11) CI/CD (GitHub Actions or Jenkins); (12) Data governance (RBAC); (13) Data modeling (dbt or Snowflake); (14) Query optimization. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.

Associate Data Analytics - Business Intelligenceposition will be responsible for delivering insights, conducting adoption tests, and working with senior BI engineers and a cross-functional team to productize these insights. This person will play the role of a data analyst working with the strategy and growth analysts, data science and data engineers to provide insights to help support product and business growth. They will help design, develop & maintain visual display of all the mission critical data sets generated by the DnA team for statistical and machine learning computational requirements. This person will also play the role of “Data Artist”, making an impact by storytelling with data in summarizing, profiling, sampling, visualizing and analyzing terabytes of data. So if you are passionate about data and its analysis using Visualizations then you will love working in this team.

The BI Engineer will work closely with various functional groups on projects involving data discovery, assessing data samples, massaging and preparing data for hypothesis testing and machine learning algorithms.

This role has the overall responsibility for establishing and evangelizing BI and data visualization services in support of analysts and data scientists with Data and Analytics org. The BI Engineer plays a critical role in enabling the ability to bring order and insight to the data. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Enterprise Analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain dashboards and interactive reports in Tableau Cloud, Tableau Next and Salesforce Einstein Analytics.

  • Partner with enterprise analysts, engineering and other stakeholders to understand business use case needs for insights & analytics.

  • Help architect, develop, validate and communicate BI solutions such as reports, dashboards, KPIs and alerts.

  • Document standards and procedures for best practices for visual intelligence design & development.

  • Able to identify data gaps, improve quality of data and integrate data from several data sources to perform in-depth analysis for product insights.

  • Translate numbers, trends and data to consumable insights - both explanatory and exploratory.

Job Requirements:

  • A related technical degree required.

  • 1-2 years of Data Visualization experience using Tableau and similar tools.

  • 2 years of experience using Big data technologies like Hadoop, Pig, Hive, HBase, Spark.

  • Expert knowledge of Oracle SQL and Nosql tools for data analysis, report development and performance tuning.

  • Ability to quickly learn and gain a deep understanding of SFDC business processes.

  • Ability to perform thorough analysis of complex data, draw sound conclusions, and devise actionable strategies.

  • Expert in the visual representation of complex information for driving business impact.

  • Subject Matter Expert and Evangelist on enterprise data, visualization, data analysis, data modeling, SQL constructs and workload management.

  • Creative mind, strong passion for User Experience.

  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.

  • Detail oriented with proven analytical, problem identification and resolution skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in an unstructured and fast-paced environment, and have a high degree of self-management with clear communication and commitment to delivery timelines.

  • Large enterprise Domain consolidation and decommission experience from acquisitions

  • Automation and CI/CD is a must. Powershell, Python and GoLang are preferred scripting languages

  • Continually analyze and work to improve the quality of services offered by Corporate IT

  • Ensure new Directory Service technologies are adequately tested and integrated with Infrastructure and Application Services

  • Optimize or re-design existing infrastructure services as needed

  • Ensure service availability & reliability of all infrastructure services

  • Test lab development

  • Suggest improvements based on technology, best practices, or changing requirements

  • Provide regular management updates on advantages and potential opportunities for new technologies and automation

  • 7+ years of design/support of Enterprise environments with over 50,000+ users

  • Demonstrated ability to think and execute long-term and big-picture in an environment with a short-term focus.

  • 5+ years experience as a Domain Administrator with large Microsoft Active Directory: Designing, Implementing, Maintaining, Troubleshooting

  • 7+ years experience as a Global Administrator with large Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD): Designing, Implementing, Maintaining, Troubleshooting

  • 7+ years of enterprise security experience

  • 7+ years of experience working with Windows Server environments

  • 5+ years of PowerShell and other scripting language experience

  • 5+ years experience an an Identity organization

  • Deep knowledge of Authentication and AD Security

  • Python software development experience

  • Object-oriented programming

  • Proficiency in DNS, PKI, LDAP

  • Directory integration with 3rd Party Applications and hosted services

  • Experience with mission-critical services and applications in a global enterprise environment

  • Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Strong analytical skills coupled with technical creativity and vision

DesiredSkills/Experience:

  • Experience with Okta and other IDPs

  • Experience with AWS
