What you will do:

What you will do?

• Deploy and manage Openshift on baremetal servers in various topologies on the edge, update the CI lanes and troubleshoot.

• Manage releasing of several Openshift Operators that enables telco engineering to meet low latency and low power requirements.

• Propose and review design, enhancement proposal for CI lanes.

• Plan and prioritize your work to complete timely in the Openshift release cycle.

• Collaborate with the quality engineering team ensuring that their requirements are met to deploy and test the OCP deployment and configuration changes.

• Work with upstream communities, contribute your code to upstream.

What you will bring?

• 3+ years of solid Linux experience, best to have understanding of Linux components (kernel, bootloader, memory, network, storage, graphics etc.) and Ansible.

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development, be familiar with Python/Golang, Shell scripting

• 2+ years of experience in Kubernetes, Gitlab CI/CD, ProwJobs.

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently

• Be self-motivated, responsible, and collaborative

• Proficient in English reading, writing and speaking

• Proactively monitor the maintenance of all IT-related systems

• Coordinate troubleshooting of frontline issues in the communications room and with the deployed audiovisual equipment

• Platform management to include video conferencing, digital signage, and print infrastructures

• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on problem resolution

• Serve as a key technical engineering point of contact for office projects, including new offices, moves, expansions, refits, and integrations of company acquisitions

• Interpret customer needs to help develop comprehensive AV solutions

About the Job:

In this role, you will be a part of a team (~10 developers) whose focus is on crafting highly usable tools, services, and solutions. You will frequently have to solve challenging data problems, be comfortable with learning new technologies when the need arises, and collaborate with other team members to align on a common vision for the entire application portfolio.

What you will do?

• Design and develop an engine to process vulnerability metadata and publish them in standardized formats (CSAF VEX).

• Integrate our tooling with various internal systems to improve the flow of data to better meet SLAs put on publishing CVE information to our customers.

• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines of applications deployed in various environments (example: improving automated deployment to an OpenShift cluster).

• Serve as an adviser to our stakeholders on process-related inquiries (example: advise on data model for storing CVE which impact component X).

• Continuously improve the process of Red Hat's software delivery (example: suggest/implement automation for legal approval of components in the registry).

What you will bring ?

• Advanced (5+ years) knowledge of the Python programming language and its ecosystem

• Intermediate (3+ years) with relational databases (e.g.PostgreSQL)
