What You Will Bring

• Active Top Secret security clearance

• Experience with delivering an implementation based on an architectural design

• Experience delivering successful modern cloud platform consulting engagements

• Demonstrated ability to lead a technical project, including collaborating on project timelines and maintaining project and technical documentation

• Experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) cloud solutions, including Red Hat's OpenShift Container Platform

• Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes

• Experience with or working knowledge of Ansible automation

• Experience with Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a derivative

• Experience with configuration management, application deployment, and infrastructure orchestration technologies

• Ability to identify stakeholder needs and set expectations regarding project timelines and scope of work

• Experience working collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders

• Knowledge and a desire to mentor

• Associate or Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a technical discipline

• Technical certifications like Security +, and network• Prior experience with source code management tools like Gitlab

• Knowledge of networking principles such as TCP, DNS, DHCP, IPs

• Experience with Red Hat Identity Management (IdM)

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

• Must be able to work in-person in Charleston, SC daily

The salary range for this position is $116,270.00 - $191,840.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

•Demonstrated track record of working in a strategic advisory role to senior IT and business executives, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms

•Applied knowledge and experience working in agile, scrum, and DevOps teams

•Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

•Willingness to travel to customer locations about 30-40 weeks per year on average throughout North America

•Familiarity with open source software and open source as a business model is a plus

•Knowledge of Red Hat's product portfolio and subscription business model is a plus

•Experience with delivering an technical implementation as part of a project or team

•Capable of contributing to technical projects through sustained teamwork and collaboration, ensuring the development of practical solutions.

•Ability to interact directly with customers across roles and organizations and clearly communicate technical and non-technical concepts

•Demonstrates ability to adapt quickly to new and unknown situations, ranging from managing deliverables to learning new technologies.

•Practical experience with at least one coding or scripting language. Examples include but are not limited to Java, Python, C++, YAML, Bash, JavaScript, React, etc.

•Familiarity with backend software development methodologies, frameworks, and development principles, including Agile, Code Management (Git), Software Development Life Cycle, etc.

•Interest in diving deep into backend software development, IT automation, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, DevOps, and Artificial Intelligence

•Knowledge of and some experience with at least one Red Hat technology such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, or Red Hat Ansible is a plus

•Prior experience working in a customer-facing role is preferred

•Familiarity with open source software and open source as a business model is a plus

•Knowledge of Red Hat's product portfolio and subscription business model is a plus

The salary range for this position is $75,320.00 - $120,480.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

What You Will Do

• Cover a territory consisting of large enterprise and commercial accounts

• Sell Red Hat's services and solutions using the business requirements of your customers to create unique technical offerings

• Grow your territory and pipeline through the development of internal business partnerships with the field sales team and alliance and partner programs

• Accurately and consistently provide revenue and booking forecasts for your territory; know your book of business day to day and be able to communicate that book of business both with account sales teams and services teams

• Manage booking goals across all practices; meet revenue and margin use targets

• Ensure successful delivery of all projects in partnership with the delivery team towards ongoing sales opportunities

Within 12 months, you will be expected to do the following:

• Sell and manage complex, multi-product solutions across core IT and lines of businesses

• Grow your revenue base on a quarterly basis to meet targets

• Manage escalations without supervision

The salary range for this position is $216,990.00 - $358,000.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
