Job Description
  • Provides subject matter expertise for creating awareness, identification and sales of Institutional Asset Management's capabilities with clients and prospects within the assigned regions. Acts as an extension of the product team.
  • Provides education of capabilities to internal Institutional Asset Management teams and business partners on most complex products. Determines product suitability for prospects and provides prospecting support. Leads the product discussion from introductory/discovery phase through entire sales cycle. May provide guidance to team members.
  • Develops and maintains a pipeline of prospects, prioritizes and creates/delivers sales presentations in collaboration with other business partners. Serves as the internal wholesaler, providing technical sales and service support to teams by furnishing customized solutions on most complex products.
  • Partners directly with internal Institutional Asset Management team regarding client and prospect financial needs. Ensures that opportunities are current and accurate in collaboration with other business partners.
  • Provides strategic direction, thought leadership, idea creation and collaboration in the evolution of most complex products.

  • When leading an Examination, manages the due diligence process and directs the daily progress of field work performed by the other Field Examiners assigned to the Examination to ensure all assignments and duties are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Trains junior and new Field Examiners. Evaluates junior / new field examiners progress and reports such to the Recurring Business Regional Field Examination Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES• Consults with nonprofit client/prospect to assess business needs and identify product/service recommendations. Advises Sales team in the development of significant/complex sales opportunities, including proposals, presentations, and the closing of the opportunities.• Works with the Sales team in the qualification and prioritization of pipeline and sales opportunities targeting largest and most complex opportunities.• Completes diagnosis of client's current business situation and related requirements through data gathering, which includes interviews, research, tools development and modeling.• Consults with the client/prospect to assess complex and highest value business opportunities and develops tailored solutions using PNC capabilities.• Serves as liaison with the market service teams.• Create and/or deliver thought leadership and education internally and externally in-person and in virtual forums.• Serve as a coach to develop more junior members of the Nonprofit Strategy and Solutions Group at PNC Institutional Asset Management.• Serve as proxy for the Managing Director of the Nonprofit Strategy and Solutions Group of Institutional Asset Management when necessary.The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:- Sales experience and track record of success
- Demonstrated ability to work with internal partners
- Strong finance background (education and experience)
o Bachelors and/or Masters in Finance
o Finance experience
- Understanding of Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) engagements (this is the major solution we offer)
- Knowledge of philanthropy and the related gift planning vehicles
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)(internal and external)
- Confident public speaker and facilitator
Job Description
  • Provides subject matter expertise for creating awareness, identification and sales of Institutional Asset Management's capabilities with clients and prospects within the assigned regions. Acts as an extension of the product team.
  • Provides education of capabilities to internal Institutional Asset Management teams and business partners on most complex products. Determines product suitability for prospects and provides prospecting support. Leads the product discussion from introductory/discovery phase through entire sales cycle. May provide guidance to team members.
  • Develops and maintains a pipeline of prospects, prioritizes and creates/delivers sales presentations in collaboration with other business partners. Serves as the internal wholesaler, providing technical sales and service support to teams by furnishing customized solutions on most complex products.
  • Partners directly with internal Institutional Asset Management team regarding client and prospect financial needs. Ensures that opportunities are current and accurate in collaboration with other business partners.
  • Provides strategic direction, thought leadership, idea creation and collaboration in the evolution of most complex products.
