Job Description
  • Drives the overall strategic direction and growth of private and public health informatics accounts across NZ, developing and implementing high-impact strategies that align with company objectives and maximize long-term revenue.
  • Cultivates and maintains executive-level relationships within private and public health informatics accounts across NZ, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to drive mutual business success and innovation.
  • Reports to the ANZ Enterprise Informatics business leader
  • Works under limited supervision and contributes to development, modification, and execution of organizational policies impacting immediate operations of a business and/or region and/or function and potentially organization wide.
  • Spearheads the execution of large-scale, complex projects and initiatives for private and public health informatics accounts across NZ, ensuring all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and timelines, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, all while fostering a culture of impact with care
  • Contributes to the sales strategy and distribution strategy for own market segment, including tailored value proposition and defining projects for a diverse type of actions.
  • Conducts comprehensive market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities for expanding market share and enhancing the company’s value proposition within private and public health informatics accounts across NZ, ensuring regular updates to sales data in the Customer Relationship Management System in line with Company policies and KPI's.
  • Develops and implements tailored account management plans that include detailed strategies for growth, retention, and customer satisfaction, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Negotiates high-value contracts and agreements with key accounts, leveraging deep industry knowledge and financial acumen to secure favorable terms and drive profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and solutions to key accounts, coordinating efforts across sales, marketing, product development, and customer delivery.
  • Provides strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on in-depth analysis of account performance, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional development across all levels.
  • Represents the Company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, showcasing the company's expertise and capabilities to strengthen relationships and attract new business opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 3 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Account Management, Client Relationship Management, Partner Sales Operations, Sales Operations, Business Development or equivalent.
  • Experience in Cardiology and/or Radiology Informatics is highly desirableExperience in complex C-Suite level engagement
  • Experience in enterprise level public sector engagement and procurement
  • Experience in Enterprise ICT sales and business development
  • Proven track record of successful sales delivery against targets, particularly in the medical devices or healthcare informatics market.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic thinker, with the capacity to develop and execute long-term plans that align with both customer and company goals.
  • Capable of functioning as a high-performing individual contributor, with strong ownership, accountability, and a self-starter mindset.

Senior Engineering Manager

Senior Engineering Manager

Experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our R&D X-ray Image Chain (Detectors, Grids, Collimator, Tubes and Generators etc.) team and oversee our Norm Compliance Officers. This dual role requires a blend of technical acumen and people leadership to ensure the successful development and compliance of our diagnostic X-ray systems.

Engineering Management

  • Lead and mentor the R&D Image Chain Components (flat panel X-ray detectors, anti-scatter grids, generators, collimators and tubes)

  • Oversee pre-development, product introductions, and lifecycle management of Image Chain Components.

  • Manage Image Chain components road mapping in collaboration with external suppliers & releases with an international, cross-functional team.

  • Coordinate technical investigations into customer complaints.

  • Supervise Image chain advanced development activities.

  • Ensure product quality through thorough tests and requirements engineering.

  • Collaborate on software development projects.

Norm Compliance Leadership

  • Review product requirements related to safety, EMC, and environmental standards like IEC, EN, and ISO.

  • Oversee compliance test plans, including standards such as IEC60601 series and ISO 10993.

  • Oversee risk assessment and mitigation for product safety.

  • Support usability and software teams in creating certification documentation.

  • Ensure third-party component compliance and liaise with certification agencies (like TUV/CSA).

  • Oversee technical file deliverables for MDD, MDR, RED, REACH, and RoHS regulations.

  • Support audits and regulatory submissions (FDA, Notified Body, INMETRO).

  • Maintain DXR compliance lab qualifications according to ISO17025.

  • Train and guide cross-functional teams on regulatory standards and compliance execution.

  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and timely closure of standards gap assessments.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Educational Background : BE, BTech, ME, or MTech degree, preferably in Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years in R&D and engineering roles, with 3 to 5 years in System Engineering (preferably in product safety and norm compliance)

  • Minimum 3 years of people management experience

Technical Skills:

  • Medical device design and development experience in imaging modalities (like X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound)

  • System Engineering - preferred experience with Image Chain/Acquisition, product safety and compliance

  • Proficiency in regulatory submissions and relevant compliance standards (e.g., CE Marking, FDA, Health Canada).

  • Preferred experience in product design and managing compliance documentation.

  • Preferred familiarity with IEC62304, ISO14971, IEC60601 series and ISO 10993

Leadership Skills:

  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.

  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Clinical Applications Specialist, Cardiac Ultrasound - NZ
Job Description

Providing clinical support throughout the entire life cycle of the relationship with both new and existing customers, you will work in partnership with Account Managers to deliver pre-sale presentations and demonstrations on the Philips Ultrasound portfolio including the Advanced Imaging techniques of 3D Echo and Cardiac Strain. You will play a pivotal role in maximizing customer satisfaction, and elevating the efficiency of patient care, through providing effective training around the optimal use of our equipment once delivered /installed and handed over by Philips.

Other key responsibilities

  • Promote Philips Healthcare solutions during customer visits, product demonstrations, seminars, and trade shows
  • Train customers in applying optimal usage of the equipment delivered enabling users to follow clinical procedures and protocols to achieve best practice
  • Train / re-train hospital staff in case of new releases, upgrade and / or versions (changes) in the operating procedures of the equipment
  • Conduct regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback from them about the quality of the training delivery and the customer satisfaction
  • Be aware and to manage at all times the safety standards required by the company, including radiation protection, health and safety regulations
  • Support product launches and advise the sales team of market feedback
  • Keep up to date with new developments in the clinical application and operating field of the relevant equipment
  • Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner
  • Supporting the business with input on configurations and working with the Account Manager to provide clinical feedback to assist in funnel management

You’re the right fit if

  • Postgraduate studies in Cardiac Sonography are required as well as in-depth clinical experience within a public and/or private echocardiography department
  • Experience with Advanced Imaging technologies or cardiac catheterization/hybrid labs highly regarded
  • Previous experience in presentations and training or experience within a commercial environment will be high regarded
  • Outstanding relationship building and communication skills
  • High levels of motivation, energy, and a drive to achieve results
  • Desire to be in a commercially focused clinical role, partnering the business
  • The ability to travel across ANZ if required
