Drive product quality improvement activities, using statistics and data analysis techniques to improve processes. Working with production, manufacturing engineering andsuppliersquality in the areas of process control, quality control and assurance, data collection, failure analysis, corrective actions, reporting for early detection and correction and continuous improvement. Responsible for “real time” investigation of failures, finding root causes, issuing summarizingand following-up corrective actions implementation.

To succeed in this role,

  • B.A. /B.ScStudent in Industrial Engineering and Management

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • At least 3 semesters till graduation

  • Ability to work at least 3 days a week, preferably 4 days

Job Responsibilities:

Supporting Mechanical Engineers in:

• Mechanical design – 3D models, drawings, prototype manufacturing, and production transfer.

• Analysis, testing, troubleshooting and documenting of mechanical units/subsystems of small to medium scope.

• Development of modeling, simulation and analysis. Produces the design requirements and designs for DMS Mechanical.

• Trouble shooting of DMS mechanical problems. Ability to evaluate & define the design correction – when needed.


Education/Skills and Experience Requirements

• Currently a Mechanical Engineering student

• Grade average- 80+

• Good English skills

• Ability to work 18 hours per week and at lease 3 semesters till graduation

• Basic Knowledge in Mechanical Design

• Knowledge/ Experience in mechanical of one of the 3D CAD programs such as IDEAS, Creo/ProE etc.

Your role:

  • Arranging and performing clinical evaluation projects, applications\algorithms tests, analyzing results and deriving relevant evidence for performance, safety and claims substantiations.
  • Working closely with development teams, physicians and clinical scientists to develop strong study plans, and related tools (e.g. analysis and annotation tools).
  • Supporting writing and maintenance of formal documentation for regulatory compliance.
  • Supporting reviews and writing of scientific literature.
  • Assisting clinical specialists during the process of developing concepts for new applications and perform ongoing improvements.
  • Supporting investigation(s) of customer complaints.

You're the right fit if:

  • Student towards B.Sc/M.Sc in applied mathematics/biomedical engineering or similar engineering degree with at least 2 years to graduation
  • Experience as data scientist/algorithm engineer, with code writing/data software (e.g. Python/MATLAB and R-studio/SAS/SPSS/Minitab or equivalent) is an advantage
  • Experience within a healthcare/regulatory/legal/highly regulated environment is an advantage
  • Innovative thinking to solve complex problems
  • Grade average - 80 +
  • Availability for at least 18 hours work a week
  • Excellent English

  • Support the commercial & marketing teams for the creation of business plan with Partners.

  • Enable commercial success with strong Service delivery performance

  • You have a strong technical acumen gained from a background in Biomed, engineering, military equipment services or similar – whilst training will be provided, we will need the successful candidate to be able to easily grasp the technicalities of our medical devices.

  • You a strong communicator with the ability to develop gravitas with a wide variety of stakeholders

  • You understand the healthcare sector – either working within healthcare or providing a service into the sector.

  • You have a career history in service delivery, service management, customer success or role where you have been responsible for Service and outsourcing processes

  • You can demonstrate a focus on performance management (KPI, SLA)

  • Full driving license to enable flexible travel to partner and customer sites.

  • Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role.
