Clinical Applications Specialist Image Guided Therapy, Ireland

Your role:

  • Customising the system to the specific wishes of the users, in close contact with project management and account management, in order to maximise the performance for each specific user.
  • Taking care of implementation of trial installations (in cooperation with Service), in order to get it working and to get the maximum information for evaluation by the product group.
  • Monitoring the use of each system, by regular contact with the users, in order to solve problems regarding the operation of the system or to adapt the system to changed user wishes.
  • Taking care of demonstrations and presentations, where required, to stimulate the sales of the assigned equipment.
  • Keeping in close contact with the product group, in order to increase/maintain the application knowledge and be timely informed about new developments.
  • Participating in the development of new functionality or the development of improved system settings.
  • Delivering value-add enhanced user training on site to the clinical teams
  • Manage safety standards including radiation protection, health regulations, reporting on customer feedback as well as ensuring that training for customers meets Philips quality policy.

You are a part of theteam, working alongside six colleagues specialising in this application. You will work closely with Sales Managers, Account Managers and Project Managers to offer a first class service to our existing customers.


How we work together

  • This role is a field based role and will require full flexibility to travel to customer sites.

You’re right for this role if you have the following:

  • Relevant Diagnostic Radiography degree
  • Significant clinical background in Radiology
  • In depth knowledge and experience of cardiovascular imaging (minimum 2 years cath lab experience)
  • HPC accreditation essential
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel anywhere in Ireland and also to United Kingdom in the initial training period

Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role.

Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer

Working collaboratively with the wider organisation to provide exceptional service to our customers, you will provide services not limited to corrective & preventative maintenance, commissioning and installation of equipment and software and hardware upgrades to products within the Imaging Systems portfolio both on-site and remotely.

Your role:

  • Provide field and remote technical support to customers and colleagues based on training and experience.
  • Maintain proficiency in customer service tools and applications.
  • Work with remote support team, delivering direct remote assistance to customers.
  • Conduct corrective, preventative, installation, and field change order activities on complex healthcare systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hardware, and software failures using established procedures.
  • Determine cost-effective repairs to minimize customer downtime.
  • Manage escalations, keeping stakeholders updated on progress.
  • Maintain knowledge through continual training for regulatory compliance. Ensure timely and efficient administration compliance with reporting procedures.
  • Safely handle and store all company property, including tools and spare parts.

How we work together

  • This is a remote based role which will cover the Dublin area but travel within Ireland should be expected.

You’re right for this role if:

  • HNC in Electrical Engineering is essential
  • 1 – 3 year’s experience in electrical engineering, and ideally also mechanical engineering preferred
  • Solid technical knowledge in engineering fundamentals - Understand and drive remote strategy for customer support
  • Process knowledge across multi-modality and diverse med tech products
  • Competent in IT/Network diagnosis and Remote service and able to adapt to new technologies and digital tools
  • Customer centric focus essential, collaborative and self motivated working style
  • Logical problem solver with independent working ability

Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) / Police certificate / criminal record check will be required for this role.
