Your role:

• Develop software tools to improve process efficiency, such as the MR Bay reservation management tool, material management systems etc.
• Complete project development using agile methodology through iterative processes.
• Participate in software development using React and Python.
• Interest or experience in AI tools (such as cline) is a plus and can accelerate code development.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in React and Python programming.
• Interest or experience in AI tools is preferred.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with the team.
• Available to intern 3-5 days per week forat least 6 months.

• Lead technical capability assessment, technology reviews and sourcing board files.
• Lead LRP and APQP Level 4, Process Validation. Drive APQP plan development, execution, monitoring and control
• Strong Understanding in Cp, Cpk and MSA.
• Deeper understanding of design within individual technical field- mechatronics, welding, plastics,machining, sheet metal, and high level assembly,etc to drive DFMAT at suppliers.
• Lead and challenge Critical to Quality characteristics flow down to Suppliers and communicate feedback to R&D.
• Lead Analysis of defects for deciding if supplier caused and then notified for NCRs and IIA.
• Lead problem solving for SQNs, SCAR and Quality Improvement plan.
• Lead, own SICRs at site levels, and manage SICRs priorities with stakeholders.
• SME, can be a trainer. Able to demonstrate and solve complex problems using problem solving tools. Strong control over DFMEA to PFMEA linkage and process controls.
• Lead Supplier improvement and communicate the challenges and resolutions to stakeholders.
• Lead factory support per site for supplier related issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering science, or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 10 years of related engineering experience (medical device or regulated industry preferred).
• Wide-ranging experience within an engineering function.
• Well versed in Quality Engineering and Continuous Improvement techniques.
• Direct working relationships with suppliers
• Participated in several NPIs from start to finish.
• Direct shop-floor production engineering sustaining experience.

Project Description

IGTS is ramping up due to China content requirements. The new team members need to be onboarded and need to find their way in the organization. At the same time the team is starting up innovation projects and support the initial local manufacturing of IGTS products in Suzhou.

Meanwhile, due to the localization, CMT resource is limited, this intern will support CMT.

Key Deliverables and SMART Objectives)

1. facilitate onboarding of IGTS staff (badges, working places, Philips Suzhou NEO requirements)

2.Support on administrative tasks like travel arrangements, team building activity

3.Department sample order via Ariba system

4.Support CMT (Change management) for access application

• Support procurement and shipment of parts for the innovation projects
• Provide general project support activities
• Organize, support, and facilitate team events
