As a Clinical Application Specialist IGT-S Indonesia, you will provide clinical expertise through pre-sales presentations, product demonstrations, application training and handing over of company products. You will assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product clinical specifications for the development and implementation of customerapplications/solutions.


Your Role:

  • Supporting Account Managers by providing clinical decision support for products and solutions, including sales presentations, product demonstrations. Support and advise the sales force during customer acquisition.
  • Developing and executing winning clinical sales strategies to expand market share
  • Actively participating with sales team in coordinating and executing clinical evaluations, product demonstrations and presentations
  • Educating sales team on emerging clinical issues and positioning solutions to address these market changes. Keep up to date with new developments in the clinical application and operating field of the relevant equipment
  • Supporting new products launches
  • Customer Trainings and handover of newly installed IGT-S products or new end-users.
  • Set up application training schedules, in close cooperation with the customer.
  • Train customers in applying the best possible clinical procedures and protocols to achieve optimal usage of the deliveredcathlabs,patient monitors and C-arm equipment.
  • Report to IGT-S business unit on difficulties in optimal usage of the equipment
  • Responsible for delivering customized (competency based) training material pack – if / when required
  • Support user group meetings if / when required.
  • Conduct regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback from them about the quality of the training delivery and the customer satisfaction.
  • Support and advise the sales force during acquisition.
  • Stay "on track" with the new developments in the clinical application and operating field of the relevant equipment.
  • Be aware and to always manage the safety standards required by the company, including radiation protection, health and safety regulations. In the event of hazards or accidents, to take immediate control of the situation and involve the safety advisor from the regional office.
  • Ensure that all clinical applications training, with both new and existing customers, complies with the company's quality policy.
  • Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner.
  • As a Clinical Application Specialist IGT-S Indonesia, you will be part of APAC IGT-S Clinical Applications Specialist Team and you may need to cover other countries outside of Indonesia in case other IGT-s clinical application specialist are not available.

  • University degree in relevant allied health discipline majors
  • Cathlab, C-arm and radiation safety in-depth knowledge, proficiency in one of the clinical segments such as Interventional Cardiology,Radiology, vascular,Neurology.
  • Preferably minimum of 2-5 years of experience at Clinical applications or as a radiographer in a hospital setting.
  • Experience on using Cathlab or C-arms and advanced applications.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to utilize problem-solving, critical thinking and priority-setting skills.
  • Speaking, understanding, and writing fluently English in addition to local language.
  • Teaching experience in a clinical environment preferred.
  • No obstacle to travel extensively with-in Indonesia and within APAC when necessary.

Your role:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements, setting clear expectations, and meeting commitments and arrival times to address and resolve customer needs. Understand the customer's business and competitive environment; generate service revenue.
  • Actively participate as a member of the regional work team; work to improve team processes and identify training gaps. Seek out opportunities to increase capability and capacity (i.e. may be required to become qualified in multiple modalities, learns new tools).
  • Perform all administrative duties within established Philips, State, and Federal regulatory requirements and timeframes including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders (FCO), preventative maintenance (PM), installation documents, site and service documentation, and other related paperwork. Adhere to established training, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Utilize tools, support, resources, and escalation processes within required time frames to resolve customer and system problems timely and effectively. Complete PMs, FCOs, installation and all related tasks (diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems).
  • Travel across the specified geography is required. The average driving time is 1-4 hours daily and may exceed 50% at times. Occasional overnight stays and travel by air and/or train may be required.

The hourly pay range for this position in Massachusetts is $36.75 to $58.80, plus overtime eligible.

This role also includes, field service and lead generation incentive bonus plans, on-call pay, company fleet/car, training, and advancement opportunities. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive plan, field service incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.   • Drives and initiates improvements in new/ current project based on learnings/ feedback from earlier projects/ market. (both Safety and Quality feedback)
  • Uses post-market analytics and statistics to report on product quality performance in the field (provide feedback to manufacturing, suppliers or design teams) and initiates field actions whenrequired.
  • Act as a single point of contact (person assigned to project team) responsible to ensure that hardware design meets quality and compliance standards for every milestone of product development process.

  • The Q&R team working for the businesses of Philips Avent - Mother & Childcare, reporting to the R&D Quality Manager in Hong Kong.
  • You will be based in Shenzhen, and you will work in project teams with coordination with marketing teams, manufacturing teams at various sites, supplier teams, and other Q&R members across Philips.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Minimum 5 years working experience, related to medical device and consumer electronics product industry is definitely advantage.
  • Understanding of Design Controls and FDA 21CFR

You are responsible for

  • At least 10 years of experience in Software Architecture, Design, and Development for Embedded Software/Firmware using C/C++ is necessary.
  • Experience in software development within the medical industry is preferred, particularly familiarity with IEC 62304, FDA guidance for medical device development, and other related regulatory standards. Cybersecurity experience is also highly valuable.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns is required. Additional skills in design refactoring and Python programming are highly preferred.
  • Experience with RTOS and BareMetal based Embedded Software on embedded systems is essential. Preferred knowledge includes working in a Linux environment, platform initialization, board support package integration, and modifying Linux kernel and device drivers.
  • Familiar with communication interfaces (e.g., Bluetooth, USB, Ethernet, Serial/RS-485) and both wired and wireless network standards.
  • Knowledge of V-model and SDLC is needed. Experience in Agile Software Development practices and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is highly preferred.
  • Collaboration with ODM suppliers in the Greater China region to ensure quality and regulatory compliance of outsourced design and implementation is essential.
  • Ability to interact effectively with product owners, internal and external development teams, and stakeholders to understand product requirements is important.
