  • Takes End to End ownership of complex and high impact Emergency Care and Resuscitation programs with high visibility and importance to the business

  • Prepares and implements programs in multi-discipline areas (including Quality and Regulatory, R&D, Operations) in accordance with agreed goals on quality, time, cost and staffing.

  • Leads all aspects of the Identification, Investigation andCorrective/PreventiveAction implementation of the CAPA process at the site level.

  • Able to solve complex problems using various root cause analysis tools, with goal of focusing team on most impactful and important deliverables.

  • Navigates through the complexity of programs by coordinating between the sub-projects, multiple sites, and matrix organization.

  • Sets project timelines, uses innovative methods to optimize efficiency, and manages risks to achieve project success

  • Ensures team is staffed effectively and utilized to the fullest potential to most efficiently complete projects. Coaches team members and provides feedback to appropriate parties.

  • Establishes strong operating mechanisms to track progress, identify issues, overcome obstacles, and define recovery plans.

  • Provides ongoing status reports to the business leadership team, highlighting opportunities and risk mitigations.

  • Works with Quality and Regulatory to ensure the program is fully compliant with the Quality System, FDA design controls, and global regulatory agency requirements.

  • Optimizes project efficiency and innovation via collaboration with other ECR program managers within Program Management Office (PMO) and resource managers in other functions

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of product development experience

  • 2+ years of Project Management experience

  • PMP certification a plus

  • Medical product development experience a plus

  • Strong communication skills

  • Demonstrated leadership skills showing ownership and successful completion of complex projects

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

  • Language skills: Fluent in English (both writing and verbal) and Fluent in Mandarin;

  • Time zone / Can work under high pressure

Senior Procurement Project Manager – Electrical Components



Your Role

As the Senior Procurement Project Manager, you will drive end-to-end sourcing initiatives for electrical component modules, focusing on pre-NPI (New Product Introduction) phases. You’ll act as the strategic interface between engineering/module teams and our commodity teams, translating product and technical requirements into actionable sourcing briefs and enabling supplier-driven innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Optimization Leadership: Champion cost optimization by challenging the status quo and finding the right balance between product requirements, consumer needs, and supplier capabilities. Leverage deep insight into electrical components and product functionality to drive competitive advantage.
  • Project Leadership: Lead pre-NPI scouting and sourcing projects for electrical components, ensuring alignment with product development timelines and technical specifications.
  • Cross-Functional Interface: Serve as the bridge between module teams and procurement, facilitating clear communication and strategic alignment.
  • Sourcing Briefs: Translate complex product and engineering requirements into structured, actionable sourcing briefs.
  • Innovation Enablement: Identify and pursue supplier-enabled innovation opportunities tied to concrete NPI product needs.
  • Roadmap Facilitation: Guide long-term roadmap discussions between module teams and suppliers to ensure future readiness and strategic alignment.
  • Negotiation Strategy: Support defining negotiation strategies with our commodity team and support execution to maximize business outcomes.
  • Risk & Value Assessment: Evaluate supplier capabilities, risks, and value contributions in the context of product and business goals.
  • Lifecycle Support: Oversee sourcing activities across product lifecycle phases, including Phase-In/Phase-Out (PIPO) planning.
  • Resilience: Support initiatives through kaizen events and continuous improvement programs to shorten lead times, define global supply footprint and local eco systems.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing, with a focus on electrical components.
  • Proven success in leading complex sourcing projects and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of global and China-specific supply markets and trends.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer goods or health technology sectors.
  • Experience with digital procurement platforms and analytics tools.
  • Experienced with latest LLM and AI tools to leverage in your daily work
  • Certifications such as PMP, CPSM, or APICS.
  • Multilingual capabilities and international work experience.

  • Define and achieve challenging project goals within budget, time and quality;
  • In collaboration with project stakeholders identifies project risks (opportunities and threats) and issues, identifies mitigation actions and supports in fostering a risk environment where considerate risk-taking behavior is encouraged, taking into consideration the balance between risk taking and risk escalations

Excellent problem solving (DFSS), critical thinking, analytical and communication skills are necessary to successfully deliver Philips G&B products and present Philips G&B message to individuals and groups in a professional manner

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Science or Engineering preferred)
  • 5+ years of experiences in creating strong propositions and products development
  • 5+ years in leading a cross-cultural and geographically dispersed project team developing consumer electronics or household products preferably in grooming, shaving or beauty related.
  • Ambitious leader, team player with a consumer-focused mindset, good coordination and organizational skills.
  • Subject Matter Expert in all aspects of Project Management Knowledge (PMP, Prince 2)
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of electronics and mechanical design aspects of household or consumer products
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Ability to tailor information and pitch at differing levels of detail, especially presenting management information to assist with and enable decision making
