As a Major Account Manager located in Palo Alto, the tech hub of the United States, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, discovering customer needs, and providing solutions that promote long-term customer satisfaction.
The ideal Major Account Manager is an energetic, driven professional with a successful track record of cultivating relationships and developing B2B business in the tech industry. This is a highly integrated sales role and the ability to proactively identify and propose solutions to complex customer needs is vital.
Your role will also include maintaining customer relationships and upselling additional services. A willingness to travel is also required as you may be called upon to meet with clients to better understand their prospects and leverage key relationships to create new opportunities.
You should be able to multitask with ease and be comfortable managing many different types of accounts. You need to be a self-starting and self-motivating type of person because you'll be responsible for setting your own goals and focus areas each week.
You should also have excellent communication skills and experience with various sales and marketing strategies. Knowledge of different software programs and technology trends is also important. The Major Account Manager will have an active role in helping Expoint Technology become a leader in the tech industry.
