Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end analytics for the JAPAC Technical Solutions organization; including the design, implementation, and optimization of data-driven processes and dashboards
  • Partner with the Global Technical Operations team for a coordinated approach to data analytics across Technical Solutions
  • Participate in JAPAC theater leadership meetings to learn theater priorities, identify metrics to measure and produce weekly reports for the theater on their specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support business objectives
  • Develop and automate complex reports and analytical dashboards using advanced tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Sheets, GCP BigQuery, Google Looker Studio, Salesforce, SQL, Python)
  • Translate business needs into actionable data insights through reporting tools and AI to proactively identify trends, opportunities, and risks to inform leadership decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Product, and Engineering to ensure data integrity, alignment, and execution of strategic initiatives
  • Author high-quality executive summaries, strategic documents, and presentations to communicate complex analytical findings to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Drive continuous process improvement through data mining, statistical analysis, and the implementation of automation solutions through the use of AI

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics program management, data analytics, or a similar role within a technology or consulting environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Tableau, Google Sheets, GCP BigQuery, Google Looker Studio, Salesforce Analytics, ETL processes)

Role Overview

  • The Unit 42 Malware team is a global team responsible for providing accurate malware analysis, threat hunting capabilities, and the development of malware automation pipelines. This role is designed for an experienced Reverse Engineer with familiarity specifically supporting consulting operations and threat intelligence. The role has flexible hours, but will have an on-call component that includes a commitment to shared coverage of high-priority tickets that may arrive between Friday through Sunday.

Required Skills

  • Advanced knowledge with at least one disassembler (e.g. IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja).

  • Expertise with user-mode and kernel-mode debuggers (e.g. x64dbg, WinDbg, gdb).

  • Developing and scaling reverse engineering automations (e.g. IDAPython, Ghidra Python, Docker).

  • Deep understanding of modern malware techniques, including obfuscation and evasion tactics.

  • Understanding of x86/x64 architecture and IL formats (e.g. .NET).

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, C, C++).

  • Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP) and analyzing traffic.

  • Experience configuring sandboxes to increase hit-rate and accelerate analysis.

  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and using LLMs to accelerate analysis.

  • Advanced understanding of modern Windows internals relevant to malware analysis.

  • Experience transforming/modifying malware to support analysis (e.g. deobfuscation).

  • Familiarity with script deobfuscation and analysis (e.g. PowerShell, JavaScript)

Preferred Skills

  • Proven track record of contributing to threat research initiatives

  • Designing and building next-generation hunt tooling

Your Experience

  • Minimum of 6+ years of related work experience with 3+ years of Technical Revenue specific experience
  • Prior Public Accounting experience with regards to Revenue (ASC 606) preferred
  • CPA or equivalent a plus
  • SAP, SFDC, Big Query and accounting operations experience a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Experienced in writing complex technical revenue accounting position papers
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment with attention to details

Your Experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills including appreciation and the ability to elicit collaboration from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
  • Flexible to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines - able to promptly and expertly react to project adjustments and alterations
  • Project Management Institute PMP(r) certification or equivalent a plus
  • Experience with Google’s G Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides) is a plus
